This is an OK place to stay if you're a heavy sleeper and on a budget.
Rooms are basic and small (especially the bathroom) but clean. Walls are thin and the floors hard. Cold in winter and a bit hot in high summer. Of three times I stayed, I slept fitfully twice due to loud voices at all hours, but other cheap hotels in the area have the same issue.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice folks.
Breakfast is like other low budget hotels nearby - in my opinion only worth going to for a coffee. Bread, pastries, jam are industrial, packaged, long-life stuff - worlds apart from the delights of so many little cafes a short stroll away.
Location is good. Metro stop a short stroll, plenty of restaurants and shops for essentials. The Metro system is absurdly cheap, but if you walk for 15 mins to Sesto Marelli you're in the central transport zone. If doing so, take Viale Ercole Marelli - there's a pedestrian tunnel under the rail tracks to the LEFT of the kebab shop with blue sign with orange writing opposite the end of Via Firenze.
