Gorgeous hotel, really nice large rooms and quiet air condition unit!! The beds were huge and really comfortable. I also used the gym which had a variety of machines and free weights. Location was close enough to all the main attractions. Best thing was between 5-6 it was free wine in the lobby!! No problem with refills. Also free lemonade and coffee in the mornings.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the end of last June.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant .The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The air condition, as well as free WiFi were excellent The location of this hotel is very good as it is located right next to the big shopping mall and the Boston city center is within walking distance. . Every morning, complementary coffee and tea are available at the lobby.
Definitely good stay.

This hotel is in walking distance of many Boston historic areas. It is also just across the street from the science museum. There was a daily complimentary breakfast that was more than the typical free breakfast at many other hotels. A complimentary wine bar in the late afternoon was also a nice touch. The rooms were lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. I would stay there again. All the staff were helpful and polite! Pets are also allowed which is also a nice touch!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the river if possible

After sleepless night in prior hotel, this was a welcome improvement. Room ready early which was appreciated. Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Room super quiet, great silent a/c, comfy bed and pillows. In sort of a weird area, lots of construction nearby.

After a long trip, my husband and I went to restaurant/bar to eat and redeem our free drink. Bar was all that was available, because it was later bartender was nice and friendly. I saw a mouse under the bar stools. Seeing rodents in any context usually sends me reeling, but I held it together until I got back to the room, where I called the front desk and they comped our dinner. I had stayed here just the week before for work, and I do like the hotel rooms and location. So I would stay again if in Cambridge, but I wouldn't eat in the restaurant.

I've been going to the Hotel Marlowe for several years to attend a conference. Service is always excellent. The rooms are luxurious, the catering staff is always attentive and professional, the meals are great. If you go there, take advantage of the complimentary bikes or kayaks to tour the area.
They even have a water bowl of dog treats outside the front door for canine guests.

I stayed at the Marlowe for 2 nights with my family (2 young kids). Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The room was really nice, clean, staff helpful, and location ideal for us (in between Boston and Cambridge, very close to the Museum of Science). I hesitated to put the rating at *very good* because of the breakfast which was as far as I can remember one of the worst I had in a hotel (at least given the classy look that it has and the expectations). The croissants were terribly bad, the amount of choice was very low, and price expensive for what we got. Not the end of the world obviously but it kind of nullifies the overall very good things that this hotel has to offer.

Thanks for the nice feedback, sorry about the croissant! I will talk to the chef and see what we can do to make them better in the future.

Thanks again and hope to have you back!
