We loved the serenity of the beautifully appointed room- clean and odor free. The restaurant however was a joke. Understaffed and with a limited menu. The prices were inflated and once the food arrived it was a double disappointment.More
The experience was wonderful, and planning to stay again next year. Breakfast was just perfect with a lot of variety. Love to bike and the hotel provide the bikes free. Great Hotel shuttle that takes you to Harvard Squarer, Kendall square, BU, MIT. The view from my room was just amazing of the Charles river.....

This property is begging for an update... Seriously rooms are old and public areas are even worse.... Being a Hyatt member I am wondering how Hyatt still allows this to be called a Regency.
The staff is good and efficient and one cannot blame them for the lack of investment/up keep. Really regretting not staying at the Hyatt downtown or the Airport property... Never again!

This is a decent place with clean rooms and good service. Nothing here will 'wow' you but you will be in good hands with a good location - walk to MIT or Central Square. I also walked to harvard Square (2 miles) and also to Fenway (about 1.5 miles). good fitness facility and conference space.

Stayed in a nice room overlooking the Charles River and enjoyed their restaurant Zephyr's. The hotel is within walking distance to Harvard and MIT, but a hotel shuttle is also available. Recommend this hotel for those traveling to Cambridge.

The Hyatt Regency Cambridge is a good hotel located on the banks of the Charles River. The design of the hotel is unusual in that it is pyramid shaped and the interior is quite contemporary with lots of natural light.
The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are quite spacious and and view of Boston from my room was great. The Zephyr restaurant and bar are quite good with the same great view.
However the location is poor. It is sort of closer to MIT but you need a taxi to go anywhere else. There is a shuttle to Cambridge but it is not adequate.
