“Less (for you) is more (for them)”
Reviewed 29 June 2013

I should start from their description as Hotel Resort as this is just a beautiful bed and breakfast as none of the service of an hotel or a resort is here to be found
They have a public place called as the living where breakfast is served and where guests can have a sit during the day with uniquely a nespresso machine providing coffee and tea and some unappealing and tasteless small cherries picked from the garden . in case you would like to have a glass of something cold , you can only rely to the minibar in the room that is filled with basic and uninspiring drinks There has been no way to have a glass of White wine all along the six days I spent there and this in Italy whatever you descirbe your structure is not admissible even more when you have been awarded one of the four top places in Italy for hospitality .
Hospitality is the word that here does not get the right meaning , the feeling of being treated as a guest and not as a customer, here it is lacking .
Yes you get welcomed when you arrive, you get your 10 minutes of explanations on how to do the things (and your are always kindly invited to do it on your own , see restaurants booking or whatever a normal landlord should be glad to do for you), you are never asked how your day was, or recommended something with the exception of the second rainy day when all guests di have a cold breakfast on the "living" and had nothing to do , as this place offer no solution in case of bad weather and rooms are too small to think to spend the day inside
There is nothing to eat so in case you should be hungry , be aware that you need to go out and shop on your own , and the Hotel&Resort if a couple of Kms from the first shop...

The place is idyllic, reminding of a Provencal bastide, with spotless gardens of lavender, Jasmine, roses, and anything that may give good feelingand balance when walking into it
Rooms are modestky sized with serious bedding ,nice bathrooms and lighting accessories, still without sufficient space to stay in , if not by laying on the bed .
There is no writing space or table where to put laptops or books
Swimming pool , better say a bigger bath tube is nicely done and surrounded by sun loungers , again here there is no service in case you need something , you have to do it by youself , No towels are provided...remember you are in a resort
Breakfast with a never changing selection of things , yes there are so described home made cakes, still home made does not mean always good. Fruit juices of low quality and again in Italy this is not acceptable , No way to get an egg or anything warm unless the toast (that you shall do it by yourself )
A nice place but when you scrap the surface there is not so much left , Less is more is a good theory but not always the best
