We stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment is very clean and the beds are good.

Swimming pool area looks nice and is kept very clean.

We had a lovely stay except for one thing: we had half-board which meant that we had dinner there every night. The food which they serve there is awful to say the least.

Pees from a can combined with octopus from a can mixed together on a plate. Roasted pork belly which consisted only of fat. Dishes with no salt etc etc. Luckily the service was good and the waiter was very honest, he told us that the chef was very bad :-)

This would be ok if it was a 1 or 2 star resort but they pretend to be 4 stars.... Come on guys and girls of Nuraghe Arvu, fire the chef, he gives you a bad rep !

For the rest we had a lovely stay there, I would recommend the place to friends but would definitely advise them not to have lunch or diner there.

I celebrated my 60th birthday with friends from New Zealand and everybody positively commented on this fabulous resort.
Well priced with a fantastic buffet breakfast, attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Visited in the late September season and had just a half filled resort that made the experience even nicer. Just a stroll to a sea swim if you wish for the early morning pick up.
The setting amongst the basalt hills and golden sand is exquisite.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms with a sea view away from restaurant.

The hotel is very pleasant and very clean, customer service I rated as excellent , they are very friendly and well spoken, they hotel offers a shuttel to local harbour drop off/collection , drivers are fantastic , very friendly and pleasant to see such a happy faces everyday specially Mario , who is excellent. The room is very good and spacious, outside pool, very very good sorrounded with mountain views , can set here all day long with lots of sun all day long, they checked the tempature and checked very often , top rated for the cleanliness... amazing ,feels don't want to walk and drop any sort of mess at all.... This was the first family holiday in Cala Gonone Sardinia , it has all it offers as a relaxing ,sun seeker holiday that was absolutely suit our requirements. I certain would come back and rated as one of the favorite destination from now on...

We also had the opprotunity to meet with the hotel owners, and was a pleasure having such a good afternoon tea with them...

Room Tip: All rooms are great , it has views every where

I was pleasantly surprised to find this elegant hotel on Sardinian coast...this hotel was clean ,efficient and close to the local port where many excursions are possible...I am Canadian and have been living in Europe for many years...it was suggested by a Danish couple that really enjoyed it as well....great for families with children given the tranquil ambiance and I've noticed many single couples just enjoying a pleasant day by the pool....food is awesome:)

We spent 5 nights in san pantaleo then drove here for 3 nights. On arrival the hotel looked great, big rooms and an amazing pool, huge, warm with plenty of sun loungers. The location is great, with a 5 minute stroll down to the Main Street where all the restaurants are... Although remember it is uphill after dinner!
I was disappointed in breakfast. Although there were plenty of choices, the quality was poor, no fresh juice and nothing was replenished once it had been set out, nor was it covered so numerous flies enjoyed themselves. We ate lunch one day at the hotel- a simple pizza, which we realised was a frozen pizza when ourselves and the 2 guests next to us couldn't cut into it as it was still frozen!. Service from the staff was forgettable.
If we were to choose this area again, I would choose this hotel, purely for the pool. It really makes the hotel.... But I would dine out, even for breakfast!
