Rooms clean, nice size, bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant. ...... unless you have a lot of time don't waste your time. Had a rehearsal dinner there for 17 people. No other customers were there. Took over 2 hours to get our food. Some meals were warm some were cold and not right. Had the breakfast buffet. Food was good but the staff was so slow to get coffee and to take your plate. People friendly but that only goes so far. Fix the kitchen.

From the moment we arrived, Gwen Bailey, Guest Services Agent, was very professional, yet personable. Because my family members were arriving at various times, Ms. Bailey was very accommodating in room assignments and ensuring that the accommodations were acceptable to us. Any and all questions were answered.
Eventually, we met Ms. Denise Motley, Guest Services Manager, just in passing and Ms. Motley was extremely personable and questioned if everything was ok and if there was anything we might need. Ms. Motley was cordial and it was obvious that she was genuinely concerned about the contentment of the guests at the hotel.
We also met, just by passing in the hallway, Lillian, Supervisor of the room service staff (I think); who was also personable and cordial.
The staff made this stay extremely enjoyable and lulled us into a feeling of being home! Thanks Ladies, it was truly the best stay i have had in a while during my travels - - - - and I travel a lot (too much really), thus I am thankfully for retirement.
The hotel - - the indoor pool, gym, in-house restaurant that has a fantastic breakfast buffet, the lobby and lounge areas, the bar, and the basic floorplan of the lobby and rooms - - was great. Nicely decorated, lobby and rooms!
Due to my travel history, i am very particular about my accommodations and I could not find anything negative about this facility or the staff... I can't say enough about Miss Gwen, Miss Denise, and Miss Lillian - - I tip my hat to you ladies!! Oh, the waitress in the restaurant, Mia, was also great!
However, I realize that nothing can be 100% the best, :) so if i had to find something that could be improved upon, it would be the commodes. The commodes in the facility are very short - low to the floor. I would prefer the commodes were taller. Other than that, the place is GREAT!!
Thanks again, Ms. Gwen, Ms. Denise, Ms. Lillian, and Ms. Mia to making our visit to your establish a "home-away-from-home" - - - you ladies are the BEST!!
VERY IMPORTANT: I nor any member of my family knew or had prior knowledge of any of the staff named in this review until our stay at Four Points.
I have never experienced customer service equal to that provided by the staff at the Four Points by Sheraton Richmond Airport!!! "Y'all need to give lessons to other hotels regarding customer services!"

For an airport hotel, this is a particularly nice one, especially quiet and clean. The staff are all very friendly, and even the maint/cleaning staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's also an easy drive into Richmond and cheaper than the downtown hotels, so this easily doubles as a preferable airport and downtown business property. The breakfast was a little weak and the fact that they dont have lobby coffee available 24x7 is not good for airport/business travelers. Based on the attentiveness of the staff, I suspect if enough of us make those points, then those minor things will be corrected. My recommendation for improving breakfast would be to have eggs on the serving line (not wait for order) or at least hard boiled eggs readily available (and include HB eggs with continental since there is no protein offered in the carb-heavy = unhealthy continental)

This does not look like a new hotel but the renovations are fairly recent.
The location is great being close to both the airport and a large mall with multiple eating and shopping establishments within walking distance.
The rooms are of an adequate size although my room looked over the reception area and I was woken at 4am by some noisy people talking.
The facilities include an indoor pool and fitness center.

hotel was very clean and rooms had enought space gwen was very nice at check-in and check-out when checking in she made sure i had everthing i needed for a bless stay. they have vending machines and a pantry.

Wasted my points. stayed in a reminder for $70 a night before cleaner nicer and half the price.dust bunnies in room unknown paint on furniture, bathroom cabinet with water damage.waited over 10 minutes at bar for a drink gave up and left.pool area was dirty and water was questionably clean.service at front desk was very good though.

We stopped at this hotel on our way to the beach on vacation. It's a typical airport hotel in that it does show some wear and tear, but on the whole, we wouldn't hesitate to stop again. There was a large family reunion in the hotel which made it a little bit noisy in the evening, but nothing too far out of the norm. Checkin/checkout was fast and easy, and the location was very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable.
