Stayed for 2 nights at this magnificent hotel, great customer service during check in, rooms are spacious and beds are a delight!! had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, they have quite a few healthy options in the menu and very attentive service.
I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit the area,you wont go wrong!

Stayed at the Westin for a conference. The room was clean, up to date and the bedding was very comfortable. The location is great for finding good places to eat and shopping. My room had a former snack machine instead of a refrigerator. The snack machine did not even keep my water cold. I told them when I checked out and they agreed to replace it. the price would have been extremely high (over $220 a night) if I had not gotten the discounted conference rate. I recommend it for a conference but would not pay the high price if I had not gotten the conference rate.

I have been staying at this hotel and it is consistently the TOP business hotel I stay at. The front desk makes you feel like a part of their family and takes the "specialness" factor to a new level. The front desk personnel remember me from trip to trip, which is a pretty tough thing to do. There has been very little turnover over the years and friendly faces likes Amanda, Francine and Joanna and Andy really go above and beyond. Club level is well worth the extra money as the breakfast is very good and evening appetizers help to take the edge off.

The Bar area is always hopping and the bartenders make you feel welcome.

It all comes down to the Management at the hotel and Feliks has been at this hotel since opening (I believe) and empowers and recognizes his people. He has built a loyal following in staff and also business travelers like myself. Thanks to Feliks and his entire staff for making each stay a memorable one!

Room Tip: Upgrade to club floor - well worth it!

It was after midnight and after being turned away from other full hotels, we drove another 30 miles to the Westin Richmond. Sometimes things happen for a reason. So glad we ended up here! The bed was truly heavenly! Got 5 hours of sleep and felt like I got 8. Shower was just right. Coffee in the room. A/C set just right. Clean, clean, clean! Ready to get back on the road after a lovely breakfast but my husband wanted to stay! Driving from Florida to Vermont in 2 days. Thanks Westin Richmond for a rejuvenating night! We will definitely be back!

We traveled through Richmond, VA on Saturday on our way to Topsail Beach, NC for vacation. We were delivering our daughter and son-in-law's puppy to them, as they had just been moved by the Marines to the nearby air station in NC. We had never traveled with a pet so I was concerned about staying in a pet-friendly hotel. but the Westin was outstanding in every way. We had a terrific AAA rate and no extra pet fee, which seems to be unusual. The staff assured me that the dog was welcomed and arranged to have a "heavenly dog bed and dog bowls" be placed in our room prior to arrival. The hotel is beautiful, four stars, and our uneasiness with bringing the dog quickly diminished. At check-in, they gave me a number of suggestions on where in the area we could bring the dog with us to dine on a patio - and that worked out great too. I can't thank the staff at this hotel enough for the wonderful service extended to us, from the initial phone inquiry I made through the easy checkout. I will stay here again without the pup when traveling through Richmond!

Clean, renovated rooms and a convenient lounge make for a great stay. In addition, service was fabulous and the location convenient. Would definitely come back and/or recommend to others! Great work Starwood!!!

My wife and I traveled to Richmond for a tasting for my son's upcoming wedding in the area. I chose the Westin because it was centrally located and convenient to our needs. From the moment the bellman greeted us and "welcomed us home", the stress of our seven hour ride disappeared. Checking in was quick and efficient, and the room bright, clean, and inviting. The bed is as advertised, "Heavenly" and we awoke each morning refreshed.
The "reservationist" worked hard to comply with our requests for our next stay, (the wedding). Her professionalism and caring nature made us feel more than customers. Oh! and there was no charge for parking. Great find in Richmond!!
