Went here after work with a group of friends and it was incredible. The service was fantastic. I had the local greens salad with candied pecans and goat cheese. For the entree i had crab cakes and fried green tomatoes and for dessert I had the Chocolate Pate. I would definitely recommend and it's cool that it's in a museum. The view was fantastic as well.

The food, staff and libations are always a treat. The view is spectacular especially at sunset. We are so fortunate to have this gem.

WOW! I have been reviewing the restaurants that we visit and this is the best one yet. These reviews are fun and this place is a must go! We had the cheeseburger, the crabcake and the rockfish. Each dish was artfully presented, perfectly cooked and the portions were appropriate. The service was professional and friendly. We didn't have drinks, but the drink menu is impressive and creative! When we visit Richmond again we WILL go back! BTW, the duck pate is splendid. Our only complaint was the crust on the lemon pie--it was a fail--tough, dry and impossible to cut even with a knife. Minor complaint compared to the fantastic filling. I use a lot of great and fantastic adjetives in this review and everyone of them is deserved.

The food in Amuse is extremely good - the curry fried oysters are crisp and tasty -on the old menu, the "crab cake sandwich" which is really a crab cake with little or no filler, sandwiched between 2 fried green tomatoes, topped with 2 thick slices of surry back, and served with house made pimento cheese - sigh...... put the best and most sinful thing you can put in your mouth if you are a carb freak is the poutine..... crispy french fries, topped with curds of cheese, gravy and then crispy, thick chunks of pork belly - also on the old lunch menu and I pray the chef will bring it back......not too thrilled about the drinks because I am a sweet type of drink person.... but if you like trendy type unsweet drinks made with absinthe or chartreuse... but very good champagne cocktails. Looking forward to visiting and trying the new menu!

Second time at Amuse and still great. Drinks are original and theemed with special exhibits. Great takes on classics and new appetizers and entrees. Desserts are out of this world. Arrive early to explore the museum.
