After reading a very good review about Amuse restaurant located in the Virginia Fine Arts Museum in Richmond we decided to give it a try for lunch.
After being seated on the outdoor veranda overlooking the museum campus we were quickly greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable waiter who provided us with very good service throughout our lunch.
We shared a seamed mussels appetizer and the Prince Edward mussels were perhaps the best we have ever tasted.
My wife had the Cuban Sandwich with potato salad as a side and it was very good. I had the crab cake that was in between two fried green tomatoes with a pimento cheese and salad greens side. It was fabulous.
As we were full from our lunch we declined on desert but the descriptions sounded great.
All in all a very good lunch at the museum and a good value at $41.
