“Lovely museum”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We spent the morning at the museum. Both the exhibits and the building itself were very interesting. The staff were also all very friendly and knowledgeable. Go hungry for lunch and check out their cafe, they have a wonderful outside patio!

Beautiful museum. If you are in your 20s & new to the Richmond area this is a must visit on Fridays during the warm months. There is a great happy hour with drinks & food offered as well as discounted tours. Its always a great crowd.

A fun collection and an excellent way to send and hour .... hours .... the day. And, the food and bar at Amuse (3rd floor) is always a treat!

“Great Art Museum”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

All I can say about the VOMA is that it is well worth a few hours of one's time to visit it. Most of the exhibits are free, and the museum itself is comfortable. Docents offer tours (although the one we had was absolutely horrible, so we had to leave her after 10 minutes), and there are volunteers throughout to give information.

I would go back again and again.

“Jewel box Museum”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

One of the best small museums in the USA. Fantastic new addition to the museum was recently built. Very good restaurant and cafe - great place for a cocktail overlook the gardens. The museum owns the greatest number of Imperial Faberge eggs in the USA. Wonderful art deco furniture and accessories exhibit - beautifully exhibited. You will leave with something from the gift shop for certain.
