This place offers excellent service and good food. It's not the best Thai I've eaten, but it's run by a hard-working family who really appreciate their customers. I'm present for dinner once or twice a week, and I've worked my way through much of the large menu.
One of the negative reviewers went in with a large party (one noted 9!) and unless you warn the staff ahead of time, you'll get the cold shoulder at most places. Many area restaurants also refuse to split checks and tack on a service fee for large groups: if you have ever worked in a restaurant, you'll know why that practice is common.
As for the food: the noodles here are excellent, the fish fresh, and the green papaya salad a standout for thai flavor.
I'm very fond of their appetizers and the Pad Thai is the best in Cary Town.
If you expect a glamorous dining experience, this is not the pick. It is a family place with character in an old building. The staff have made some upgrades to the bathrooms and dining area, so please refrain from slamming the place.
