“Great neighborhood restaurant”
Reviewed 25 January 2012

This is a great, busy, family friendly neighborhood restaurant. No gourmet food here, but a good food and a menu with lots of choices. Don't miss half price hamburger nights on Tuesdays!

“Our local”
Reviewed 1 January 2012

We live on Southside and go here on all our "I don't feel llike cooking" nights. Good, solid beer selection and classic American fare. No frills. Great "St. Practice Day" on the 17th of each month.

“Hate giving away a local secret but...”
Reviewed 25 December 2011

for those of you really looking for that old neighborhood bar and restauarant feel with really fabulous dishes this is a must visit. The daily specials are always fresh and the old standbys, burgers, dogs, subs, drafts are to savor over good conversation and a time when you really felt good away from work.
The staff is family friendly and will look after you and make you feel better than when you came in. That's what a good place should do. You'll feel like you're in Ireland for an hour, so go and take a trip. You deserve it.

“Great Food and Service”
Reviewed 28 November 2011

Ate here for lunch, I had the fish and chips, wife had a burger, son-in-law had crab cake sandwich. All were great, the service prompt, courteous and efficient. A lively bar/cafe on southside Richmond, definitely worth the trip to get there if you are not staying close.

“Good Neighborhood Pub”
Reviewed 21 August 2011

Get the onion rings, which were perfectly cut and coated in a light, tasty batter that was fried to a flaky golden goodness. Those were among the best onion rings I have had.

The other items we had were just “good” – but not outstanding. I tried the spaghetti O’Toole, which came covered in cheese, pepperoni and sausage. It was tasty, although you could find better elsewhere. The French dip was just average. However, the macaroni and cheese was delicious.

The atmosphere was very relaxed. I’d definitely come back (did I mention the onion rings), but I would try a couple of different menu items next time.
