“Sweet family ran business!”
Reviewed 1 September 2013

A sweet local family from vietnam owns this restaurant. These are some of the sweetest people you will meet. Always tender and caring, perhaps almost too much sometimes! However, they will make sure you are taken care of. Their food portions are my only complaint but the quality is also very top notch! Good food, fair prices, sweet service! Will be back!

“What happened.”
Reviewed 3 June 2012 via mobile

This has been one of our favorite spots. The owner Paul always remembered his customers. The food and service had always been excellent We went in last night to a different restaurant with no sign of Paul and his family. We asked about them and the new staff of about 2 days said the old owners retired and are now traveling. Obviously their was no planned transition. Service was mediocre at best, the food while warm not hot and not the same as we have enjoyed for years. No ABc license yet nor a sign on the door that one had been applied for, yet the old cards describing wine were still tucked under the glass at our table. Little things that made this place special like the candy and the fancy cut orange slices that came with the check had disappeared.

Maybe the new owners will figure things out in the next 6 months or so, but stay away until they figure it to.

“Best kept secret in Short Pump”
Reviewed 30 May 2012

Started going to this establishment right after it opened. Greeted at the door all the time with the happiest person on earth and service impeccable. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine along with some Chinese favorites for those less willing to accept new choices. Excellent lunch specials and pleasant decor. It's a shame that it is not more crowded and that more people aren't aware of this place but it is tucked into the end of a strip mall so if you aren't aware of it, you'll never find it. A definite try but NOT Sat. for lunch as we found they are closed, much to our dismay.

“Great Food, Great Price, Great Service”
Reviewed 6 January 2011

Been going to this restaurant in Short Pump for ten years. The food is always served hot, with a friendly smile. Paul is the owner and supports the local community. Our kids go to the same high school as his, and he always asks about our family. We average two visits a month. Reasonably priced, this is a great option.
