It is hard to find a lunch counter anymore. This place was old, funky, run down, had a bunch of old guys nursing their sweet tea, and I loved it. The cook/waitress/owner?? was friendly and prepped our food right in front of us, as it should be. Her young daughter was cleaning the grill, mopping the floor, or watching cartoons as the mood hit her. The food? Hey, its a lunch counter. My ribeye sandwich with fries was exactly as expected, my sister's chef salad was freshly made and of a good size.
