The best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere, it feels energetic, especially on the weekends. The food in general is a let down, the last time I went I had the onion soup which is great( maybe one of the only things that is great along with the fresh bread and the selected cheese board). honestly this is supposed to be a French Bistro and they cant make a decent crepe? I tried the chicken crepe and it was a thick ,greasy crepe with hardly any chicken in it, terrible!. My husband had a salad and said it was a let down, nothing special.( and I had to really talk him into going back there, just one more time,Now He really doesn't want to go back!) I literally had to send my crepe back, something I very rarely do. Crepes are supposed to be paper thin and NOT Thick & greasy! I recommend if you go there you either sit at the bar and eat the onion soup and cheese board :-) or sit in the window area where you can "people watch" to your hearts delight . On a plus note, they do have a good wine selection!
The location of the Can Can is good especially for visitors who want something to do for a few hours as it an Area called Cary town, a location in the midst of Richmond with lots of boutique's and small gift shops.
