Having eaten at dozens of Brasseries in France over the years I was amazed to find this gem in Richmond. The food and atmosphere transport you to France ( minus the snooty waiters). Everyone in our group felt like they nailed the experience of eating in a brasserie. The first thing you notice is the terrific bread and butter that keeps coming. The French KNOW bread and the Can Can doesn't disappoint. I also highly recommend the crepes. We had both the mushroom and a vegetable and both were outstanding. Another highlight was the bouillabaisse that had loads of seafood in a saffron scented broth. If there was any weakness I would say it was the deserts. While they were solid they reminded you that perhaps you were in Richmond after all.
