My girlfriend and I decided to try the B & B for the weekend to get away from campus for awhile. We were originally slated to stay for Friday, but unfortunately due to weather, her flight was cancelled and we arrived the following morning. We had the pleasure of meeting Anna on Saturday morning and remained at our leisure until we decided to partake in some sightseeing. Anna was very understanding of the situation and the flight cancellations and was hospitable enough to offer us breakfast. She even made dinner reservations for us that night. The historic home facilities were top notch, the bathroom alone is stunning with the two-person claw tub and steam shower. Late in the evening, we had champagne and a wide variety of cheeses. The space of the main suite is excellent and gives the feeling of home. Breakfast the next morning was also good, and we took our time and slept in. I will also note that the location of the house to be great for sightseeing. Overall, the weekend was relaxing and leisurely, all spent in the eloquence of a great home. Anna was a pleasure to meet. My only complaint is that there is a cat, so I would advise people with allergies to prepare just in case.
