My wife and I had lunch here mid-week in November 2013, it was low season and we were the only clients, nevertheless we had to go and look for the waitress after almost 20 minutes as nobody was coming to our table to take the order, not even for drinks (we were sitting at the far end of the dining room, hidden from the main entrance).

We were not that hungry and decided not to go for a full meal, my wife had the soup of the day, which was nice but average in quantity and, at €6,50, a bit pricey.
I opted for a local sausage with chips (€10,00), which was fine but small and nothing really to write home about so again expensive and not at all very good value for money, the “funny” thing was that it was accompanied by 8 chips, nicely displayed on the plate, as if it was a painting or something; having found this quite bizarre, I draw the waitress's attention to discuss accordingly and she was quite surprised about my remark, she went on asking me if I was aware of the price of a kg of potatoes? I replied saying that mentioning this sort of things to customers is pointless and that with what they are charging for the dish, they could definitely afford to put more chips on the plate.
Seeing I was upset, she asked me if I wanted more chips, I said yes, we didn’t talk about prices but when the bill came, lo and behold, I was charged €1,00 extra for the second portion of chips! She said that, if I agreed, I wasn’t going to get charged for that, I advised to just leave it and I would pay instead.

This restaurant should get their facts straight and be more honest with their customers, unfortunately we happened to be there as it seemed the only place opened for lunch during our brief visit in Pinzolo (we were only passing by coming from Madonna di Campiglio going southwards).

Would we return? Unfortunately not, however if you want to have a laugh, do try this place and order the luganega with chips, please remember to take a pic and attach it with your review, as I didn’t have a chance.
