Stayed here in my winter holiday. Excellent location near skilift and ski buss stop. Friendly personel with good service attitude. very good breakfast and dinner. New renovated rooms fine. yet some older rooms what should be renovated after summer 2015.

We stayed there for four days beginning of April and enjoyed every minute! This hotel has the most friendly and service minded owners and staff you can think of.
Very nice! The room and the bathroom was clean also there were bath robes and slippers. The breakfast had nice selections of breads, yogurts, fruits, corn freaks, ham, cheese and boiled egg.
The skiing area is great and there are new slopes to be discovered every day. The Hotel is perfectly located with the ski lifts so you can skin in and ski out within 50 meters from the lobby.
It is the perfect ski base - comfortable rooms, right by the ski lifts, excellent food, good wines, a relaxing spa,
Highly recommended.

Just back from a week at Hotel Dufour. Thoroughly enjoyed the warm, friendly hospitality offered by all of the staff - especially our wonderful Mimo for whom nothing was too much trouble for our party of 14. The food was delicious - four courses at dinner with at least four choices for starters and mains and an even wider choice of delicious desserts. Thankfully the skiing meant I could still do much trousers up by the end of week. The newly opened spa area provided a welcome steam and sauna at the end of each day. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and relaxing it will be even better next season with the addition of a jacuzzi.

Hope to return another year

This is a charming family run hotel in a small and very Italian ski resort in the Aosta Valley. It is an old fashioned type of hotel where you stay half board (includes breakfast and dinner) and you sit at the same table every meal with the same waiter throughout your stay. The lounge furniture is not new but every afternoon when we came back from skiing we were made very comfortable by Mimo the barman and after 2 days he remembered which tea each of us would order and served it with chocolates or home made amoretti biscuits.
Dinner each night in the hotel restaurant was plentiful and tasty. The kitchen and waiting staff were very accommodating of a gluten free diet. The wine list offered enough choice.
We stayed over New Years Eve when the most amazing feast was served with more courses than we could count let alone eat!
The bathrooms were small, and the bedrooms tired but the staff were always friendly and helpful keen to make us comfortable.
Many of the guests were Italians and most return customers.
The boot room was warm and effective and equipment could be hired easily next door.
A 50 meter walk to the lift in the morning and shorter coming home couldn't be much easier.
If you usually stay at a Four Seasons Resort and seek luxury then this is not the destination hotel for you. But if you can appreciate warm friendly service, want to keep costs down and don't have to have state of the art décor it can be a very pleasing place to stay.

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floor are a new addition so much more modern.

Went here for New Years Eve meal (not a resident) and had a fantastic experience. Excellent menu of so many courses we lost count, good wine (and there didn't appear to be a limit of how much per customer) plus prosecco aperitif and New Year toast. Great atmosphere and good fun and also extremely good value.

The staff even offered to run us home as we were staying 6km up the road.

Faultless service and would highly recommend.

The family owners are charming and welcoming. Rooms are pleasantly furnished and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is varied and includes delicious fresh breads. The self-service coffee machine is a slight negative, but you can get real coffee if you ask. Dinner is classic Italian, lovingly served, with interesting local dishes. Good choice of local and other Italian wines, fairly priced.
Hotel is 100 metres from the Jolanda chairlift, and 50 metres from the (frequent) buses to Staffal. In July, the meadows were filled with gorgeous flowers, and the peaks were bright with snow. The walk to see the glaciers from Alta Luce is not to be missed.
A well-designed rebuild has created a spacious loft including the comfortable sauna.

Great modern and large hotel room. Classic on the outside and modern bedrooms with a touch of outdoors decor. The staff was super friendly as well as the owners who were very nice and spend time chatting with you. They are very helpful as well. We loved our bathrooms, bedding and view. The breakfastvwasngreat and the dinner was great as well. We highly recommend staying here when you visit Gressoney!!
