We stayed with Taffy and her family for 2 nights and enjoyed their wonderful hospitality. The room was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was delightful, with all sorts of homemade goodies.
We went to the Arena in Verona to see Aida and Taffy gave us cushions and binoculars and lots of good advise .She was also helpful with restaurant recommendations and finding a horse equipment shop for our daughter, yes we found the boots too!

Room Tip: Best to have a car.

We booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 2 as Taffy and her entire family are just so lovely and hospitable. We were there with our 10 month old daughter and they went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. There's fresh bread and cake baked fresh every morning for breakfast, including home made jam! The surrounding is absolutely beautiful, all wine country. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of a city then this is definitely a great choice. The nearby town has a castle to explore and the local cuisine is superb. We will definitely be going back!

This is an excellent place to sleep. This is the best place to enjoy one's breakfast. We very much enjoyed talks with Taffy. Her advice on where to go and what to see - this is remarkable. Last but not least, we very much enjoyed walking and driving in the hills around the place.

My family and I travel often and have been cycling around Europe all of this past year. We have had many occasions to stay in B&Bs, hotels, etc... La Terza is wonderful! We rented three rooms and they each were beautiful, warm and cozy. The breakfasts were the best we have had. Everything we had was homemade, even the yogurt, bread and jam. The best part of this B&B is the wonderful family. Taffy and Nir and their daughters are so welcoming and friendly and helpful. We cycled in late the night we arrived. Taffy went ahead and made us reservations at a local pizzeria because she feared we may have trouble getting a seat. (We appreciated the help very much and the pizza was excellent.) Our children loved being there as well and immediately made friends with their children. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night. This is a rare find!

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful.

Taffy's B&B is the perfect place for us to stay and explore the beautiful surrounding area. The house is in the middle of the countryside surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and cherry trees - wonderful for walking and cycling. The room was lovely and comfortable, and we woke up to freshly baked break and muffins every morning! Most importantly, Taffy is such a wonderful host and a fountain of knowledge and information of the region, she basically helped us plan our trips to Verona, Vicenza and Mantova with inside tips on where to go, what to see, where to eat, architecture, art, culture.. Etc. We had the best local food and gelato in places recommended by Taffy! We had such a great time and we hope that we can go back one day! Thank you Taffy and please give our regards to your family!

A very special place. I hardly call it B&B because it feels like home. Taffy is really a special lady with a big smile. The rooms are small but comfortable with a wonderful view of the vineyards and the garden. The breakfast was served in a small room with a fire place at the garden. I still can smell the bread, fresh made at home. And just like at my home, we ate tomato at breakfast. If I remember well, there was lavanda honey.
The B&B was very close to "Terme di Lazise" where you can enjoy hot water and relax. Soave as well is a nice town with nice wine. The town as well is close to Verona. So you can relax and enjoy peace at Soave and still go for a ride to Verona, the city of Love.
I marked as I travelled on January 2012 but it was not possible to choose a different date. I travelled there almost 7 years ago.

Room Tip: The first floor room has got a fire place but the room on the top has the greatest view of vineyards...

What a wonderful surprise! Unfortunately we use different honey these days, since the lavender honey that we used to serve is no longer in production (the owner sold and moved – it was heart breaking...) but you can still get fresh tomatoes and fruit from the garden and the smell of freshly baked bread and cakes will still wake you up in the morning.
Thanks again for remembering us, hope to have you here again soon.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
This is our home. it's a late 17th century Italian country house, made of stone, which we finished lovingly restoring in 2005. we kept every possible piece of history and put it back for you to enjoy while adding every modern comfort we could think of. It has a beautiful secluded privet garden with fruit trees, vines and flowers, which is our pride and joy. Here are some facts about our B&B:....- We're Less than 3 Km from the beautiful historical center of medieval Soave, which is dominated by a magnificent castle and still completely surrounded by it's original wall, which means that you get all the great restaurants and shops and markets, but it only takes you minutes to come back to the peace and quite of the country side.- we're very easy to reach, using properly paved roads, which means that you don't have to navigate scary narrow dirt roads (and damage your rental car) or follow complicated explanations to get here.- we're only 10 minutes drive (about 4 km.) from the motorway exit, which means that it's extremely easy, comfortable and fast, to get to and from the many famous tourist sites in the area.- although we're that close to the motorway – you'll never hear it, since the curves and hills of the country side are completely blocking the sound. which means that you can sit and drink wine in the garden or sun tan by the pool in complete peace and quite (unless of course Natalino starts practicing his opera verses or Francesco decides to play with his new tractor...) - we're surrounded by nature and vineyards, which means that you'll have to share the garden with birds (most notable of which is the barn owl and the crazy couple of cuckoo birds that are guaranteed to drive you crazy during the summer mornings...) a family of hedgehogs that live near the pool and our own dogs and cat occasionally. It also means that you can start your day by a lovely walk in some amazing views.- In our village, all with in a 5 minute walk, we have a very famous pizzeria, two local restaurants of traditional home cooked meals, a mini- market and a bar, which means that you don't have to get back into your car to get a great meal at the end of a long day.- every room has a private en suite with great water pressure in the showers and every room has a double, queen size orthopedic mattress , with extra pillows and air conditioning, which means that ...the dog will try to come and sleep in your room in the summer, so make sure you keep your door closed!...so, what are you waiting for? Come and visit, we'd love to have you. ... more   less
