At first impression this hotel seemed fine ,reception area pleasant ,then the problems started. Not enough staff at check in then had to hang around to get into room. We had asked for a sea view room but were given a courtyard room, a misnomer if ever there was one. The courtyard was the size of a tennis court and surrounded on four sides by eight stories of rooms . The balconies AKA ledges, barely room for two plastic chairs, all faced each other and we looked on the delights of guests washing hanging a few feet away . I do not go on holiday to look at people's knickers . One guest described it as f.......... Beirut . Harsh but he had a point. The rooms were in need of a lick of paint but the beds were comfortable unlike the pillows. The restaurant was very closely packed hardly any room between tables but the food was passable, no pun intended. The pool area was fine although the pool was closed at 5 . Evening entertainment were various musicians who were excellent this took place in the pool area and locals came from various dance schools so we had a mini Strictly each evening with dancing for guests as well. Thomas Cook sold the hotel to me as 4 star it isn't . If you decide to stay there make sure you book a full sea view unless you like laundry
