We moved into this hotel from the hotel we originally were staying at. We were roped in basically but a man on the street who the hotel managers pay to start luring people into this timeshare cobblers. All sounds very good when they start talking about it but fail to tell you you have to pay for your flights! You can get a package holiday for hundreds less than you'd pay for your 'timeshare', one big con.
The hotel itself is amazing, 'most' of the staff are very friendly and speak very good English. They go beyond helping you some of them. Don't be roped into signing up to anything that's all I can advise.

Room Tip: Every room overlooks another hotel no matter where you stay.

Some of the reviews I`ve read this evening have really shocked me. I would agree that the sales staff, but the hotel staff ?? My wife and I asked about a firework festival which we`d seen elsewhere. Daniel, the so called "rude receptionist" checked it out on the computer, and before we knew it, it was sorted for us, and within half an hour, it was advertised on the book on the desk. Bus picked us up, AND dropped us back at the hotel for only 30 euros for the two of us. BOTH reception staff were always polite and helpful with ANY questions. We had a problem with a few rowdy kids for a few days. The Manageress and I had a meeting and she was a pleasure to deal with. Very polite and helpful. And finally, a short walk to the bottom of the street and there are numerous resturants to cater for nearly every taste. And lovely views too.

stayed here last year and the place is amazing the staff are friendly and the location is fantastic, with the main bus terminal at buggiba bay just 5 minutes down the road. although when it comes to breakfast and dinner i went else where as the food in the on site cafe and bar was not edible.

excellent facilities and helpful staff. the food was well cooked to order no buffet style here. the george cross breakfast is a little on the large side for me but certainly good value.

Lovely rooms and excellent maid service led to a relaxing visit.

Room Tip: pool view gives a nice breeze on hot days

We visited to speak about the membership offer. Our rep Liz was absolutely lovely and really painted the offer in a great light! When we were speaking to Liz we repeatedly got quizzed about our age (which became clear after why) which we thought was weird. When we had finished speaking to Liz the manager Sean came over to 'close the deal" - we felt quite intimidated by his sales techniques which to be frank put us off slightly as we felt pushed into buying a membership! When we asked him could we think about it he told us he would give us free bus tickets if we confessed that another rep had told us to lie about our age and relationship status? What?!! Very unprofessional on his part and another Maltese female manager was extremely rude to us when we were there. Overall the Liz & the hotel was lovely as were the chain of hotels we were shown but it left us with a strange feeling on how we would be treated if we were actual customers....
