We stayed here from the 1st November to the 10th. We arrived at about 11.30am and were expecting to have to wait untill later to get into our room, but the lady let us in straight away we were delighted she was very nice and helpfull. We had a great time there, It is very basic but we were not excpcting any thing else as we only paid £123.00 and for that price it was worth the money. every thing worked the room was cleaned every day the staff were really nice. The T.V worked but not to many english channels, but then again I didn't go to Malta to watch english T.V. Your not far from the shops and bus station. We did read all the comments on trip advisor and were a bit worried but I am happy to say that we had a great time. I would go back, we used it as a base as we were out every day if you keep in mind that it is very basic, then hopfully you'll have a good time. The staff do speek english and we found then all very friendly and helpfull. We were in room 304

Paid for balcony or terrace and on arrival was allocated room 202.I would compare this to a prison holding cell as it was airless windowless and as hot as a sauna.Immediately complained and told have to wait till 9.00am next day.Duly repeated complaint and pointed out that we had paid for balcony and did not have one.Told as hotel was full would have to spend another3 nights in room before it could be changed.Stood ground and refused and after some debate behind the scenes was given room in Canifor hotel for rest of stay. This room was more than acceptable but original allocated room should be given a health warning for claustrophobia.

The cardor apartments are not bad, it's very basic accommadation, most rooms have balconys although the inner rooms dont. The towels are changed every day and the maids are in to clean the rooms and make the beds every day. We had half board where we had our food in the conifer hotel, which for us was ideal, just a short walk across a court yard where the pool is. The location is very good for all amenities, local bars, restaurants, evening entertainment. The bus terminal is only a few minutes walk away where you can now get a bus virtually anywhere on the island which isn't very big. A must do would be the train that takes you round the surrounding area with commentary lasts about 45mins. All in all we had a great time, apartments and hotels are only as good as you pay for if you want 4-5star don't stay here.

arrived 10pm big smile, welcome than they put us into a cave(room 206).for one night.no air in this apartment at all, mould all over( in the whole complex obviously)next morning after a few complain we got room 103.slightly better but not -funtastic- balcony view to the inside pool.but not to mension our guests (ant's everywhere in the room ) the only benefit was that they left aircon on some reason for rest of the week so we did not complained anymore :)
breakfast was poor .do not chose this place just wasted money

Room Tip: if you like go to Birzebbuga we found that place much friendly and the beach was 10 times better

on arriving at this hotel (apartments) at 9pm last saturday evening we were given a key to a room from hell, then to be told we had to stay in this small room till morning as noone on reception till 8.30.am, as to which i never slept all night as we had all three of us under a fan in one bedroom trying to keep cool, as no aircon was available till the next morning , we stayed in room 202 , then after complaining we got moved to room 404 with a double balcony and very spacious which was great, the rooms were cleaned everyday and clean towels , if you get a crap room then they will move you asap but dont accept the first offer untill you veiw it, as you will get a better room if you turn it down they just try it on , there is not hair dryers in the rooms but three pin sockets, i would stay here again for the price but only as a base.. aircon is 40 euro for the week .

Room Tip: room 404, double balcony very spacious sea veiw and street veiw

if you are looking for somewhere cheap just to sleep then this is ideal but not for spending any time in.the photo's on the web are of the hotel next door.the pool was dirty, the cooking facilities were very poor,we had no balcony and there was nowhere to dry clothes except the bathroom, you have to pay for air conditioning which is only in the bedroom ,when it works, the only good thing i have to say about them is the cleaners are very good,we will never go back there again

Just returned from a week in the self-catering apartments. On arrival in the early hours of the morning were handed a key and told where to go. On entering the apartment "nightmare"!!! Small is not quite what I would call it - a box more like. The curtains in the bedroom could not be drawn back but on opening them we were staring out at four walls! A one-bedroomed apartment had been booked with an inland view - four walls an inland view? Next morning we complained and were shown to a twin studio with a small balcony - still not what we had booked but better than nothing! No way is this property a four star - two more like. Added to that the whole complex was invaded by italian teenagers - could not use the pool as this was in use all the time by them and the noise of banging doors and shouting was something else! Avoid at all costs!
