The hotel was clean, cosy and comfortable. Do not think it will be like a 3 star in UK or you will be in for a shock. However, that said I had a 10 day stay in November and that the food was good, staff were helpful and have no complaints.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room at the back

My partner, friend and I stayed at the Relax Inn for a week at the end of September/start of October. We went all inclusive and were really pleased we did.The staff were really accommodating, 2 of us are vegetarians and they cooked us special meals each night which was really nice...they put loads of thought into it and we felt quite special! :) On the final night my friend asked if they would cook her some Maltese food which they did, they also offered to cook us some veggie Maltese food which was super tasty. The lady with the dark hair and the man (who brought a bottle of wine to our table each night) were especially nice but they were all brilliant.
Everyone says about the pool being tiny...it is small and more for bobbing around in to cool down but it was clean. We didn't go in it but did sit paddling our feet in it with a book and a beer.
The rooms were basic but had everything we needed, they were cleaned well every day with fresh towels left (sometimes folded into shapes, we had a swan one day - I've since tried to convince my partner to do this in our house. He wasn't having any of it.)
The shower was a bit hit and miss, I think if you have one in the morning when everyone else is it's a bit of a battle for hot water so the temperature has a mind of its own. I started having them in the evening which was much better.
The location is good, short walk down the street to the main strip bit of Bugibba and there's lots of shops and restaurants (eat LOTS of pastizzis...they sell them everywhere in Malta, they're about 25c and DELICIOUS)
We were told about a bar not too far from the hotel run by a lovely guy called 'Manwell'. We met loads of really nice people here including one couple who said they'd visited Malta several times before. They said they were quite disappointed with their hotel as they'd decided to splash out and stay somewhere for more money but it turned out to be rubbish and they were gutted they hadn't stayed at the Relax Inn as they normally do.
Getting drinks was fine, we never had any trouble just asking at the reception desk, there was always someone there and the beer was always plentiful. Be aware that if you want a large bottle of water for your room, ask before 11pm or you will need to pay for it (it's only about 80c).
We would definitely stay here again, as usual don't expect it to be top notch if you're not paying for it, but for being so accommodating and clean we couldn't fault it. The only trouble was a week wasn't long enough.

stayed from 17/11/2013 to 24/11/2013 found the hotel very good value for the money we paid, went half board, the breakfast was continental, but you could have a full english for 2euro50,which we had and it was verry good, well worth it,the evening meals were great, nice, hot well cooked food,2 choices every night and they tasted great, the room we had was 101 on the first floor, large apartment, very clean and just great, all the staff we met were very nice and would do anything for you, can`t believe the negative reviews some people write, would I stay there again, yes I would, great location by the main square, great pubs all round, try fat harrys bar just round the corner.

we stayed at this hotel for our 3rd time,we usually have room 301 but we had our room changed to room 501 this time. The view from our balcony was superb. We did have a few issues with the room though,I got an electric shock from the hairdryer the 1st day off our holidays, the door on the balcony didnt lock, and there was a bit of damp in the bathroom. There was 1 receptionist that wasnt very helpful.Apart from that we thouroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: rooms at the back of the hotel are better for the seaview, from 301 upwards

Paid extra for room upgrade with sea view. Our room was on floor three with verry limited views, room also suffered a major damp problem in one corner due to a botched job with air con pipe.
We found a couple of the staff to be more than helpfull when we pointed our problems but other members off staff working here realy should not be working in the hotel industry
