Owner description: We offer two tours. Both tours depart from the Bugibba Jetty Monday to Saturday at 10.30am to 5.30pm. Option A - Comino + Blue Lagoon + Caves: 20euro. This cruise is attractive for all you beach lovers and island explorers. We stop on Comino island in the Blue Lagoon for 4.5 hours. Paradise to the beach lovers you've seen the image of the stunning Blue Lagoon on enough postcards, its time to check out the real thing. An afternoon here provides ample time for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. You can enjoy the crystal clear waters by using our free snorkels aboard or the 10 meter water slide from the top deck. If you are not a swimmer or want to explore the untouched beauty of Comino, with its breathtaking views and old history, you can walk up to the St. Maria tower built in 1618 A.D., the St. Maria Battery, or the old church built in 1716 A.D and enjoy the wonderful views of Malta and Gozo from the cliffs of Comino. Option B - Comino + Blue Lagoon + Gozo + Caves 25euro. Do it all in one day. This trip includes a 3 hour stop in Gozo and 1.5 hours on Comino. During the 3 hour stop one can explore the Island of Gozo by using our organised minibus tours which will take you to see Dwejra, Fungus Rock, the inland Sea, stop at Ta' Pinu church, Citadel (the old fortified city), Victoria (the capital city) and bypass Xewkija church.

“St Pauls Bay June 2014”

We took option B which took us to The Blue Lagoon for an hour then to Gozo for 3 hours, we took an optional Minibus trip around the sights of Gozo and then the boat picked us up and returned us to St Pauls Bay. All we can say it was pure magic, the crew were excellent and informative as well as friendly. Kevin who's family own the Hornblower came around whilst we were docking and spoke to all passengers to get feedback about the cruise, this is what you call the personal touch, Kevin and his wife Kat recognised us 3 days later in our resort and had a long chat with us. We cannot praise Hornblower highly enough. Thanks Jilly and Nigel from Norwich

“Great way to explore the Maltese Islands!”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

All our group was very happy that we chose this cruise. I suggest going for the Option B (Blue lagoon + Gozo trip). This way you will not only spend plenty of time in the blue lagoon, but you will also have the chance to visit the main attractions of Gozo Island with their offered minibus excursion which is really worth taking.

+ Incredible views;
+ Comfortable boat;
+ 2 decks + bar;
+ Free transportation from and to hotel;
+ Owner's (Kevin's) personal approach to each passenger;
+ Commentary on each point of interest that is passed by;

- No significant drawbacks..

“A must for exploring Malta's Islands”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

A fantastic day on the mediterranean leaving from St Paul's harbour to sail to and around the islands of Comino and Gozo. A commentary of the history and sights of the islands provided a backdrop of an ancient past. Mooring in bays with crystal clear waters which are ideal for swimming and snorkelling or stay on board in the deck chairs on the top deck. Mask and snorkel available to hire for $3euro. Theres also a shop that sells hot and cold food at very reasonable prices. You have the option of going on certain islands to be picked up later or jump on a speedboat that comes alongside the boat for a speed thrill. Leaving at 10.45am and returning around 5pm its an amazing day out with the Hornblower and its friendly staff.

“The Personnel Touch Always Wins”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Well what a service from start to finish Kevin and the staff of the Hornblower are friendly and not just interested in taking your money and going thru the motions.
Instead they provide a fantastic trip at a reasonable price 25 euro for boat trip and 5 euro extra for
mini bus trip of Goza.
You get to see and visit everything all the sites and a detailed commentary in both English and Italian about them, swim in blue lagoon off the boot if you wish with staff using nets to remove the jellyfish from your swimming area. Basic but good food available on board at reasonable prices 1 euro 50 cent for tuna roll or 3 euro for buger.
You can also opt for a speed boat trip while on board too for 8euro extra.
Deck chairs on board and a green carpet to lie on and soak up the sun.
Great funny guy driving the mini bus around Goza where you get time to stop and see the sights.
Then Kevin goes around to everyone and asks if they enjoyed their day and I reckon he has never got anyone to say they didn't. Super from start to finish.
Although based in Bugibba no matter where you are based on the island jump on a local bus to get there for 1euro 50 cent and see even more of Malta.
Forget the bigger companies that are pushed on you from most hotels and stalls.
The Horn Blower is family friendly and deserves to be supported.

“top of the league ... no wonder why!”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

do not hesitate ...

... indeed, we made the right decision to go for the Hornblower Cruise. ample space for everyone, great spot on the blue lagoon, fantastic crew. i paid via online and this was extremely straightforward. no hassle on the day, audio is clear with information about all the attractions' natural and cultural significance, instructions from Captain Kevin were precise, has attention to detail. other companies will entice you with a cheaper price but in terms of comfort, customer service, cruise package and the reassurance of a bigger boat ... Hornblower fits the bill. Captain Kevin and his wife Kat are well-travelled. that to me means they know what tourists need in a foreign land.

... the optional Gozo tour in a 6 seater jeep was great fun. we thought we found the first Maltese rally driver but MARUTI was not up for it.

Thank you Kat for your help on our first day in Bugibba. my feet brought me to your door and you did save me and my wife from the misery of 2 similar sounding hotel names. your helpful instructions saved the day. may your family business flourish more and may you remain the one to beat! Sahha!
