Like an oasis in the desert. It was probably the last place that you would ever expect to find a Glatt kosher restaurant with a mini synagogue attached but to our absolute amazement, we did.
On arrival, we immediately introduced ourselves and were made very welcome by the Israeli Chef and head waiter. We ordered the Humus for starters which was an extremely large portion and more than enough for 2 adults to share, it was served with a mountain of bread and was extremely tasty.
We decided to have a Falafel each because we weren`t that hungry. Oy Vey! You`ve never seen such huge portions. Served on a giant bed of typical Israeli salad and hot chilly peppers with home made fries and piping hot pitta bread....absolutely delicious!!!
Amazingly enough, in the hour or so that we were there, other diners kept appearing, this is mainly due to the fact that the restaurant is attached to the 4 star Dolmen and spa resort hotel which is not only a wonderful place to stay but seems very popular amongst Jewish and none Jewish holiday makers from all over the world.
Before leaving the restaurant, we were introduced to the rabbi ..Chaim Segal, whom, I feel sure, the restaurant was named after...L`Chaim
