“Only Slightly Better Than Taco Bell”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Overall felt dirty, bathrooms needed a cleaning and updating. Food was only so-so. Waitstaff was friendly, but this place is nothing special.

“Self-imposed 5-minute wait because of a slow kitchen”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

First, let me say, we never made it to a seat in this Don Pablos. When we visited on Father's Day, we could see several groups of people waiting to be seated. When the hostess (who, by the way, was very polite), took our name, she said there was at least a 5 minute wait. She must have seen me glance at the dining area, where at least half the booths and tables were empty. She then said, "Oh, we are holding off on seating parties for at least 5 minutes because the kitchen is backed up." That sounds unbelievably odd to me...why make customers wait when they could at least sit in a booth, having some chips and drinks? We had decided to wait it out until I visited the restroom...it literally looked like a jailhouse restroom. Two urinals (the ONLY two urinals) were out of order and had garbage bags over them. The rest of the place looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. That was the last straw...we promptly left and went 100yds down the street to Olive Garden. I've been to other Don Pablos and had great experiences...but something is amiss at this particular location.

“Reasonably priced, reasonably good Mexican food”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

On Monday thru Friday from Noon to 4:00pm, speedy lunch specials are only $5.99. Diners can select two options from either tacos, enchiladas, and tamales (chicken, beef or pork) with rice and beans. Daily specials such as Tuesday All You Can Eat Tacos or Thursday All you Can Eat Enchiladas can fill up even the hungriest teenager. Service is friendly and efficient.

“Great Late Lunch”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

It had been a long time since we had eaten at a Don Pablos, but we enjoyed this very late lunch. We were very hungry, our first meal after a long day in the air. We have a young, but very friendly waiter (and very hard working one). All in all worthy or a stop if you're in town (our meal was better than average for sure).

“Not memorable”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

After reading other reviews, our mediocre experience may have been a staffing issue. Four adults and two children were crammed into a small booth. The first words from our waiter's lips were that we had just missed Happy Hour and he then elaborated on what we had missed. The adults wanted Margaritas so I ordered a pitcher. He informed us they don't have pitchers. We are from California. Are pitchers of Margaritas just a West Coast offering? We ordered individual drinks and the salt, no-salt options were forgotten. When the food arrived, it was obvious that our table was too small. The waiter was nice enough, but probably new with limited training. Our entries included fajitas, enchiladas, and a combination plate. None of it was memorable. As we were finishing up, a waitress brought a large tray and attempted to give us someone else's order. The location is great, the decor is pleasant. This restaurant has potential.
