Dry muffins and a breakfast sandwich that was awful, how do you mess up a breakfast sandwich? All that and 2 coffees was 23.75! What a waste of money. We thought we would try it cause it was next door to our motel, we should have known better since the place was empty all morning!

I am not sure how a home made fresh muffin could be dry or how Cumberland Farms rubbery microwaved breakfast sandwich could be better than a home made english muffin with fresh farm raised eggs and fresh Vermont Smoke & Cure Bacon or Sausage. However, I do know that when I am in a rush and trying to get somewhere..... I cant eat at all! So nothing tastes good unless I am in the right mind frame to eat! And on another note, October 17th based upon computer statistics in our busiest season of the year was NOT DEAD ALL MORNING!
Please, when you write reviews, be TRUTHFUL and ACCURATE. Reviews should not be based upon assumptions and they should be courteous and forthright....NOT everything was horrible...because it wasn't. The muffin seemed slightly dry to me and the breakfast sandwich was good, but my PERSONAL PREFERENCE would have been to have more cheese or have it toasted more.
Reviews are based upon personal opinion, and should use facts...and constructive criticism, as the small business relies upon decent people to write decent reviews. Keep in mind when reviewing that you could be hurting someone's ability to make a living or to feed their children. Think. Before writing review. Is this something I could have discussed with the owner? Should I be mean and discourteous because I am upset? Most small issues could be solved if the owner or manager only knew their was an issue.

Great little place outside of Woodstock. The restaurant maybe small but they make-up for it with great friendly service and good food. The owner was waiting tables and concerned that all received good service and a hot delicious meal. We were impressed with the variety of dishes available. There was a breakfast menu which is severed all day, a brunch menu as well as a dinner menu. We enjoyed our breakfast dishes and they were a good value. A hidden jewel in rural Vermont.

We had two breakfasts at this cafe. The food there is excellent with everything being made from scratch. There is an amazing selection of coffee and tea flavors! The owner is a wonderful hostess and made us feel very welcome.

Over our two week stay in Woodstock, we had several breakfasts at this cafe. The food there is excellent. Everything is made from scratch -- freshly baked scones, pies, cookies and other goodies. They also have an amazingly vast selection of Italian coffee flavors! I love eggs for breakfast and found their crab meat and vegetable omelet especially delicious. We’ll be going back!

Definitely a must-go hidden gem! Owner Amy is a lovely and delightful hostess, and incredible cook/baker. Enjoyed crabmeat omelette and banana muffins for breakfast, seafood chowder and wild turkey panini for lunch. Breakfast all day; outstanding baked goods. Can't wait to go back.
