“Great place for beginners”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

Suicide Six is a great small ski mountain for beginners and its also fun for experienced skiers while friends or family are taking lessons. Their lesson and rental package are well priced and often group lessons have only a few students per instructor. And the instructors are experienced and patient.

“$7 Mondays”
Reviewed 21 May 2013 via mobile

What a great deal! I happened across the Woodstock Inn website and found out that they were having $7 Mondays. Can't beat that price for a full day of skiing. Not all the trails were open but it was great skiing.
Good food in cafeteria. You can bring your own too if you want to save money.

“Great alternative”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

Another place I was told by locals, the trails were in very good condition considering the windy conditions causing the powder to blow around and show some icy spots. The facility was not crowded like the big name slopes. We have shorter lines and more time skiing

“Don't let the title deceive you”
Reviewed 25 February 2013

It's a modest size family area with no crowds and about 650' of vertical. The longest trail is a nice one-mile cruiser.

“Half-price tickets, half the mountain was ice”
Reviewed 4 February 2013

We wanted to take our new skier on an out-of-town trip and wanted to stay away from the big behemoth areas. We like the Woodstock area so settled on Suicide Six. They did run a nearly half-price lift ticket special on Lifopia, so we pulled the trigger on the two-day passes. The crowd was small and manageable Saturday. Lines virtually non-existent on the 2000-foot chair, which was good, because the other half of the mountain was not groomed; it was like getting a history lesson on what New England skiing was like back in the day, but in 2013 you expect a small area to have green trails groomed. The next day, we walked into the lodge and turned right around and walked out. There was literally not a seat empty in the lodge at 9 AM. It looked like a gathering of the local kids' racing teams; whatever it was, the lodge was far too small to accommodate the number of people there. Trails are scenic and where groomed, hold up most the day. The boy enjoyed his trip. But I doubt we'll go back.
