I went back to Hanover for my 30th year college reunion. The last time I stayed at this Inn was well over 15 years ago. It made such an impression on me then that I swore I would go back. Well, I was not disappointed. The owners (new as of 4 years ago) were lovely, warm, and accommodating. The Inn and the grounds were wonderful, immaculate. The gardens and property, magical. At this time they are only serving breakfast (in the past the restaurant was open for dinner) but all was fresh, organic, gourmet, delicious. Coffee was great too, which is always important. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to enjoy the property, or spend some time in Woodstock or neighboring Quechee as we spent most of our time in Hanover. But, as before, I look forward to going back in the future.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice, some bigger than others. I would stay in any.

We thank you so much for taking the time to reflect on your visit - and for coming back to the property to experience our chapter in its rich history while you were enjoying so many memories of your own in Hanover! Your kind words are truly appreciated. At this time of year, we love that guests can be surrounded by nature and the green of Vermont outside in addition to enjoying the products of the season in breakfasts inside. And, yes, Vermont Coffee Company has been a fabulous find for us - coffee is very important to us too! It will be such a joy to see you come through the door again in the future.

We recently stayed at Jackson House Inn to attend Dartmouth graduation. We were blown away by the inn, the hospitality, the surroundings and the food. We will be back to stay at Jackson House Inn the next time we need a "New England fix". Kathy and Rick are the quintessential innkeepers. They make you feel like special friends. The inn and rooms are beautiful and well maintained, as are the amazing grounds. Bathrooms are many steps above those typically found in a New England inn. The linens and bathroom amenities are similar to those of a 5-star hotel. Breakfasts created by Rick are true gourmet delights. They are eager to showcase local farmers and artisans. In fact, we returned home with sea salt caramels and pottery that we purchased locally after being introduced at Jackson House Inn. Highly recommend a visit!!

Room Tip: We stayed in Clara's Corner, which is a one-bedroom "suite". It was lovely and quiet...

As you know, graduation was a particularly important experience in our family this spring as well, so we loved seeing you and your family enjoy your daughter's accomplishment. Thank you very much for sharing the specifics of your experience - our goal is to surround you with an atmosphere that may be a "step above" but also as comfortable as home. And, we are so glad you enjoyed the local products - we are blessed to have such talented artists in our midst and love to hear that they will be in your home as well (not very long when it comes to the caramels, I'm sure!).

Gracious and elegant Inn. My wife and I spent two nights here on a holiday weekend. Both the house and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Breakfasts -- lovingly prepared by the owners were delicious. The place is very well managed by friendly and helpful people. The house is located slightly away from the main road through town, so there was no noise, even though we were sleeping with the windows open.

Thank you very much for spending time with us. The peace of the grounds and the local flavors of the breakfast are two qualities we love to share at this time of year. We're happy you could open the windows and enjoy the fresh Vermont air - a special treat, for sure! All our best to you and hope we will see you again in the future.

My husband and I were looking for a special Vermont experience for my birthday. Jackson House Inn was just perfect -- in fact, special enough for me to write my first TripAdvisor review. Kathy and Rick bring their warmth, talent as hosts, excellence in decor, gardens and especially the over-the-top gourmet breakfasts to make for an ideal stay.

Warm hospitality, comfortably elegant accommodations, mouth watering breakfasts, beautiful grounds, and interesting things to do in the area have brought me back to the Jackson House Inn once again. The amount of tender loving care that Kathy and Rick put into their inn is obvious. As an ever returning guest, I am amazed each time by newly decorated guest rooms, updated bathrooms, ever changing landscaping, and Rick's creativity in the kitchen. Kathy is the most gracious hostess while seeing to the comfort of each guest. She is quite knowledgeable about the area and thoughtfully makes suggestions for things to do or places to dine. Using Kathy's ideas, I have enjoyed Woodstock and the surrounding area so much that I continue to return. I thought the Jackson House Inn was close to the perfect the first time I visited. Kathy and Rick are deeply interested in creating an ever evolving guest experience - the perfect experience!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are quiet. Some have doors facing the back grounds - a nice touch.

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay at this charming Inn. Nice getaway located in a really great community. Breakfast was outstanding. One of the best culinary breakfast experiences I had with all locally derived items. Even the eggs were delivered by a local farmer from that morning's yield! The room was great and had a lot of charming character. I gave this as a Valentine's gift and let's just say it was a really good idea. Woodstock is such a nice town and still has a lot of old world Vermont. Very artistic. Got some great pictures of the bridges and local areas and we had nice snow for some winter activities and fun. We are definately going back.

Room Tip: Spend some time with the Inn Keepers - they are great. Enjoy and explore the house and grounds. Chec...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We have truly loved the relationships we have been able to build with local providers and are equally thrilled by the artistic talent in the Woodstock area. We are glad you enjoyed the winter white colors of Vermont - green in spring/summer and fiery shades in the fall add to a year-round show. We look forward to the possibility of sharing another season with you in the future.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Jackson House Inn and we enjoyed everything about our stay. We were greeted upon arrival and shown around the house. There were many rooms to sit back and relax, read a book, or just talk. Our room was wonderful. We had a view of the back yard, a comfy chair for relaxation in front of the fire, as well as a great bed with nice linens. Kathy and Rick, the innkeepers, gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner and places to see in the area. Rick's breakfasts were without doubt the finest breakfasts we have ever experienced! We will definitely return!

Room Tip: At the last minute we upgraded to Clara's Corner Suite. It was well worth the extra money!

How kind of you to take time to share your experience at our inn. It was our treat to host your visit. Clara's Corner does continue to rank as a favorite suite on the property; we're happy you enjoyed it so much. Comfy, relaxing, finest breakfast - we're thrilled those words describe what you felt while you were here, and we absolutely look forward to seeing you again.
