“Tucked away Gem”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

Came across this restaurant by accident while in Grazalema, it is tucked away round the corner from a small square. We sat outside to eat as we had a well behaved dog with us who sat under the table while we ate!
The staff, quality and presentation of the food was excellent with very reasonable prices and nicely laid out tables. I did go inside the restaurant to use the toilets and the inside lay out was as inviting as the outside. I have to say the ladies toilets (cant speak for the mens!) were spotlessly clean and decorated well also.
I will probably never get the opportunity to visit this restaurant again as the visit to Grazalema was a one of which is a real shame as it was probably one of the nicest restaurants I have visited in Spain.

“Good plain cooking”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

We ate here twice. The restaurant has no pretensions to being gastronomic, but obviously has someone in the kitchen who really knows how to cook. Local dishes using fresh ingredients are well prepared. Unless you are looking for a Michelin star type experience, you will be well satisfied with your meal here.

“Good Enough, But Not The Best In Town”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

We had a nice evening meal at Restaurant El Torreon, the food was "fine" and the service was "fine". The cozy decor is much like all the other restaurants in town: lots of wood, a fireplace. We were tired from a day of tourism when we had dinner there, so that may be why we didn't love El Torreon as much as we loved other places we ate in Grazalema! We found it very good, just not the best.

“Amazing”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

We've been touring Portugal and Spain for four weeks, part of a six week vacation. We've dined in street cafés and Michelin Star establishments, from Lisbon, Madrid, Sevilla and many places in between, and we just had one of the finest meals so far on our trip at Restaurant El Terreon. The Tapas were wonderful, and the roasted lamb is the best we've ever had, anywhere! The waiter was great as well as was the rest of the staff. So treat yourself to dining here if you're lucky enough to visit Grazalema. It's worth the short ride from Sevilla, and the scenery is amazing along the way and the town is incredibly picturesque and quaint.

“Great value set menu”
Reviewed 21 February 2014

Mario is brother of Jesus who runs Simoncon. Ambiance is very similar to Simoncon restaurant; log fire, friendly atmosphere and good food. In addition to starters, and main course the 10.95 euro set meal price incudes olives, pudding and local liquor. We ate here twice. Very good value.
