Discovered this unassuming eatery by chance. We were made to feel welcome right from the start. The charming English waitress was quick and efficient--a rarity in this area! We started with Tortillas de Camarones (shrimp fritters). They were some of the best we have had , crisp , light and not at all greasy. With this we had a ration of fried Boquerones --absolutely delicious! Well cooked , plump and not a drop of grease to be seen.
They specialise in fried food-- hence Asador , and this is one of the best we have been to. We do not usually go to Asadores as the food is just too greasy-- what a find this place is. The food is well cooked and a good atmosphere. We followed the starters with cod in batter , and chips , of coarse!! Once again light batter ,well cooked. This came with home made Tartar sauce.
Fresh melon and coffee followed. And all at a very reasonable price.
If you had to feed a family this would be a reasonably priced , excellent option.
They also do chicken , pies , salads and sandwiches.
