A brief, four day visit to the Molino which was as always wonderful. If you haven't been you really most. Even the indifferent weather couldn't dent the experience.
Hard to fault this hotel, expertly run by Andy and Pauline and their wonderful staff. Breakfasts just keep getting better and better. The walking is great and our upgraded room - we paid extra - was fabulous. A genuine treat. This part of Spain is in dire economic straits and needs our money. The surrounding area is still unsold and brilliant to explore. Ignore the Costas and go in land and stay at the Molino.

Room Tip: Ask for a light room.

Our first time in this area of Spain. The Molino del Santo is a gem! The staff were very welcoming and concerned about our welfare. When we had a problem with WiFi (which was quickly solved), we were surprised to see that our concerns had been passed on to other staff who were anxious to know that it had been fixed. The surrounds and facilities of the hotel are excellent; we can understand why people choose to stay there for extended periods. The restaurant served some of the best meals we have had in Spain. What more could we say? We would love to come back every year, but it's a long way from Melbourne.

This was our 6th visit and 3rd stay at Molino del Santo. The same as last year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This year was our 25th and the location was excellent for our special day. As usual, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation and location excellent. The weather was great which somehow managed to increase our overall enjoyment of our stay. Andy and Pauline are excellent hosts and have gathered round them a staff who all do their very best to ensure your stay is brilliant.
Once again, the restaurant offered many varieties of good food which enhanced our stay. The best Spanish cuisine we have tasted.
We will visit the restaurant again in September on our next visit to Spain and have already booked our stay there for next year's anniversary.
Molino del Santo is an ideal location to stay for individuals, couples or families either for short stays or a full holiday. Looking forward to September already as we make our way through Spain back to England.

This is the third time my partner and I have been to the Molino De Santo in Benajoan, and we have already booked our 4th visit for next year.

It gets a lot of repeat business and for good reason - it's wonderful. The location is really special(next to a small river). It's so peaceful and picturesque, you don't really want to leave the hotel - in fact we didn't. We just stayed in the hotel enjoyed the pool and the food(which is fantastic too).

The staff are super friendly and local, which is great. Definitely consider this place - you won't regret it!

I've never stayed in the hotel as we often stay in a house nearby in Montejaque, but a meal at Molino is always on our must-do list when visiting the area. The food is out of this world, local sourced and top notch. It's the perfect mix of adventurous and classic. It's not typically Spanish but mixes favourites from the local area like cheeses, ham and meat with French and British cuisine. A lunch time meal outside in the sunshine but under the shaded canopies, with the water trickling down the nearby stream and the beautiful flowers surrounding you in my idea of heaven.

We stayed at Molino del Santo for three nights in April 2013. We had a phantastic time and fully agree to the reviews posted about this place by almost everybody else: great food, great location, friendly hosts, nice rooms, perfect hiking in the area. We'll be back!

I have just visited the hotel for a 3 night/4 day break with my friend who has stayed there a few times before and absolutely loves it. I thought the hotel was charming, beautiful, relaxed, friendly, quirky, personal and full of character in a lovely setting. I also thought it was great value for money, having spent nearly as much on one night at a soulless chain hotel in Gatwick the night before we arrived! The rooms are all unique and comfortable and clean, we stayed in room 17 and were very happy with it.

We loved the beautiful pool area but the food was the crowning glory, just wonderful with a fantastic selection to choose from and with great friendly service. For me the chilli and garlic prawns followed by the raspberries in white chocolate mousse was heavenly. I should also mention that we loved the Rose wine and the sangria was the best I have ever tasted!

All the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble at all. You really are made to feel so welcome at this hotel. I will definitely be back as I know my husband and 7 year old son will love it is as well and I can't wait to explore more of the local countryside.
