“A very special place”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

We visited this beautiful little hotel for a joint 20th wedding anniversary celebration with friends and it was very special. The setting is gorgeous with lovely gardens and a fab, warm swimming pool encircled by loungers but still feeling very private and secluded. The staff were very friendly and the evening dinner was absolutely exquisite...and not too expensive The rooms and bathrooms were nice and TV-less which was great. We were only sad that we couldn't stay for longer - but we'll be back!.

On arrival we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile, from a Receptionist who was expecting us and knew that we had two rooms booked. She charmingly escorted each of us to our rooms and answered any queries we had. Then the real pleasure began, with the use of the fabulous heated pool! A real relaxing time, bathed in sun and awash with Sangria!
Our meal in the restaurant was wonderful and very well served, quiet yet attentive.
Beds were wonderfully comfortable and the rooms cool and fresh. The bathroom was very well served.
Breakfast was a pleasure with a range of delicious choices! A fabulous hotel stay!

Room Tip: A balcony room offered a great sunset view!

My husband and I had booked six nights at Molino del Santo, looking forward to hiking the area and visiting the hill towns and relaxing at the hotel. Unfortunately, after only two nights we were called home due to a medical emergency. We were very disappointed to leave because even after only two days there, we knew it was exactly what we were hoping for - comfortable, bright room, beautiful gardens, very friendly staff, delicious food and a nice little village nearby. Andy was so gracious and understanding about our having to leave and kindly only charged us for two of the four nights we had left. We absolutely plan to go back and finish our holiday, hopefully within the year. Can't wait!

Room Tip: We had a standard room up the stairs from the office our first two nights, which we liked because it...

I returned to Molino with my best friend to celebrate her fiftieth birthday, her first visit, and we had an amazing time. It was like returning home and within ten minutes of arriving, we were sitting in the beautiful, pretty terraced restaurant sipping our drinks and completely unwinding. We ate every meal in the hotel and didn't venture out for the whole weekend, we were going to visit Ronda, however completely unexpectedly some friends turned up at the hotel for an overnight stay, we couldn't believe the coincidence ! A heavy night was had by all to celebrate, however we did recover well on the Sunday with a full Thai body massage which was given by a lovely lady recommended by the hotel and done in our rooms, pure heaven ! Thank you Molino and see you next year ...... For my fiftieth ,,,, !

Room Tip: Room 11 was perfect, within a triangle of room, pool and restaurant ! Room11 had a lovely big bathr...

Once again we have spent our wedding anniversary at Molino del Santo. As always, all the staff are very friendly and we are treated like one of the family.Brilliant room looking across the gardens and pool towards the mountains. All our meals were great, particularly our Anniversary evening sitting by the river. Starting with a celebratory Cava and a main course of Filete de Tenera. Absolutely delicious. Thank you again to everyone for making our stay perfect.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great and have their own character. We prefer No.15 where the photo was taken

For our last night of a week in Andalucía we chose this hotel recommended to us. Set in a beautiful natural park in the hills near Ronda this hotel was a treat after a long car journey. We received a warm welcome at reception and were shown to our Superior rooms, which had a balcony overlooking the stream and mountainside. The pool is heated and it was a pleasure to have a swim on a hot day. The outside of the hotel is very pretty with a stream running beside the restaurant, where we ate. The food was delicious and the staff were very efficient. All in all a great end to a fantastic stay in Andalucía. Would recommend this hotel for those wanting to completely switch off or like us to have a spa-like treat after a week visiting other major towns. A trip into Ronda after checking out was a sight to behold as we got caught up in the excitement of an annual festival.

Room Tip: All rooms in the hotel are well situated.

Just back from our 3rd(or is it 4th ?) trip to Molino del Santo. We stayed 4 nights and the usual superlatives apply - ufeasibly beautiful and peaceful location, great food, and brilliant staff(special mention to Barbi in the restaurant for great craic, and to Paco for sorting out taxis to and from Malaga airport!). We're booking for next year already - need I say more - Muris & Chris

Room Tip: Buy the ceramic geckos - we've now got a family of 10 crawling up our bathroom wall at home!
