“Excellent Museum”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

It has a VERY good display of Egyptian artifacts. There are several mummies. The displays are well designed. This area is good for adults and children. It can be educational on different levels.

There are special exhibits that change regularly. You should check their website for details on special exhibits.

Architecturally designed by Michael Graves on the Emory Campus, this Museum is a jewel. The collection is top notch and the exhibitions are informative and well curated. A must see when visiting the city.

This museum is a pleasure to visit-intimate, well-lit and arranged, beautiful objects AND a delightful café and beautiful gift shop. Plus you are on Emory University campus, a lovely spot to stroll.

“A must-see for lovers of ancient culture”
Reviewed 21 February 2014

A fascinating collection of Roman, Greek, Egyptian, African and American art Although the Carlos is small, each item on display is a gem. Other museums, such as the Met in New York, are stuffed with a huge number of antiquities, good, bad and indifferent. The Carlos exhibits, instead, are so remarkable and unique, a history buff can truly appreciate each one. Quality does truly trump quantity. Not to be missed
