“It's a Hilton but not at European standard”

Stayed here for 6 nights as part of a nascar package and event. It is hard to say what is wrong it is more that it is nothing special.
The room was clean and the double beds comfy, we were in 512 with a view of the roof and car park but hey Ho someone has to be.
Bathroom was good with a decent shower as to be expected, toiletries had a shower bar but no gel minor detail only
the hallways were not that clean , carpets needed a good hoovering, the indoor pool was warm but with bugs floating and a dead spider on the floor, this was big enough to be seen without getting in
the jacuzzi was good
the jacuzzi was good but the surroundings tatty, a first aid box with big chunks of rust on it and doors that needed painting and lots of attention
the staff throughout were very nice
the business centre was free and useful as we could print boarding cards out and check In
free wifi in lobby and $15 per day in the room
TV in room or but lots of interference on some channels

Had breakfast one day and it was okay good choice and Friendly staff, cost $17 each so the same as the UK but without the £
overall it was okay but not like the hiltons in the UK it Is lacking in the detail

Womens Conf hospitality rm set up in Rm 801 with food, odors, loud and booked my companion into room next door so she had to move. Food in elevators, on floors, etc. Leaving the lobby, I met two men coming in looking for the hosp rm and the concierge immediately provided it without asking for id or if they were guests. So two unidentified guys had free run of the 8th floor. Won't stay here again.

Thank you for the feedback and letting us know how we are doing. On behalf of Hilton I would like to apologize for the experience you had while staying here at our hotel. We really do strive to make every guest stay great and it seems as if we fail to give you the great customer service you deserve.

We did have a Women's Conference group inhouse and it was several 100s of guest here and althrough we have experience this amount of guest here many times, we do take security very serious here at our property. We are over staffed when it comes to larger events and making sure everyone is safe while staying here in our hotel. We are sorry that you felt unsafe and would like to reach out to you and make sure your mind is at ease.

We do hope that you would return to our property and let us show you our best Hilton hospitality and customer service. I look forward to seeing you again.

The rooms and bathrooms are very nice, the beds are comfortable with nice pillows, and the hotel felt quiet. I waited a while to check in, and ordered some simple room service for dinner - an appetizer and a salad. I found a hair in each one and promptly called and asked for my money back. They were apologetic and courteous about the situation, but it makes me what else lies beneath the surface. I'd expect more from this type of property.

We stayed at the hotel for a two days layover at Atlanta. We arrived late from our overseas trip and wanted an easy accessible place not far from the airport : the hilton atlanta aiport matched our criteria. They had a convenied airportshuttle which drove on and off the waiting time was never longer than 10 minutes, better than the local Marta metro :-)
The reception was quick friendly and simple just as the rooms clean and spacious.
We did not eat at the restaurant but at the the sports bar which is on the lowerlevel of the hotel. They had great snacks at a reasonable price.
However they don't have a nice terrace seating area for dining or drinking , somehow a must for cold europeans when they see the sun :-)
Shame that wifi was at an additional cost these days it is hard to imagin that hotels still charge for internet.

We stayed here for one night after a late flight. Check in was disappointing - the clerk and her boss were uncommunicative and insincere but got the job done eventually.

The high point of our stay was the room: fabulous bed, spotless cleaning, great shower and the usual lovely toiletries. We were delighted.

The executive lounge was good but there was an honor bar for the drinks. In Hilton's in Europe, the drinks would have been free of charge.

The restaurant lets this hotel down. It's souless and dull but the service was good even though the menu was a bit like a diner.

Finally, the shuttle was perfect!

Overall, I'd happily recomend this hotel.

Everyone was very pleasant. In-room dining went out of their way to make sure I had Coke Zero available for breakfast--it is not normally on the menu. When I lost a button, their customer service team rushed a sewing kit up to my room in time for an emergency repair. Food is a bit pricey for what you get.

Great location, generously sized rooms and breakfast but no free wifi except in the lobby which is poor. Service very good especially the breakfast staff. Good gift shop selling everything...no plane noise
