Wasn't sure what to expect there, this is not our usual type of destination. Went for the special exhibit from the Royal Congo Museum in Belgium but found the Carter section to be fascinating too. Well presented and very interesting. Cafe had good looking food and was cheap for museum food. (cup of coffee $0.75!) It is a lovely setting too. Only negative is the time to get there on public transportation.

Very unpretentious memorial to Jimmy and Roslyn Carter! Beautiful ground, easy to view exhibits, informative film. No security checkpoint. Walked right in on a Saturday morning - not crowded at all.

You learn about President Carter's life from birth all the way until life after the presidency! This is a trip I would recommend hours for…There is a lot of walking and reading to do so make sure you wear your comfortable shoes! There's a lot of things that were in the Oval Office and gifts that were given to President and Mrs. Carter throughout the many years in politics. This is a MUST see stop in Atlanta!

This is the first Presidential Library that we have visited and we found it educational and good at reminding us of both the events of the Carter presidency, but also the work of the Carter Center around the world. They have taken on important issues from guinea worm disease to election monitoring. The energy and commitment of the Carters is admirable. The video was an excellent introduction. Makes you think about your own role in the world.
