“It needs work.”
Reviewed 11 March 2012

Recently I visited the Apex Museum as part of a Black History trip with a group of college students. Our tour guide left a lot of stuff up to us to figure out and talked to us as if we were third graders. "Yall do know what 'mulatto' mean right...?" They could have just said, "Mulatto means ..." and it would have been taken better. It was okay okay for little kids but now college students. I think that she should take note of what group (age range) she has and adjust accordingly. Also "Malcolm X" name is misspelled. That should definitely be corrected because sometimes mistakes like that tend to stick more in the minds of the visitors when they leave. The museum itself is really nice though.
