This is the third play we have seen at the Alliance within the last year. It is a fabulous venue to see a play at. We have gone to the Saturday afternoon matinees as they are a little less expensive and we can go out to dinner later. Last fall we were able to find promo codes for discounted tickets but have not been able to find them this fall. Its okay though-its a fun day in Atlanta-looking forward to going to see A Christmas Carol next month .

Thank Diane N

Alliance Theatre is located in the Woodruff Arts Center. It is convenient to go to the museum prior to a play. The ticket prices are high, but worth it. Actors, sets are great.

My wife and I went to this play and were both blown away. The theater is very large yet strangely intimate and cozy. We sat upfront on the right hand side. The play was very moving.

The play itself is about a young black woman trying to make it in 1930's Hollywood. We see her struggles to land decent parts and how that reflects towards today's black actors.

A lot of this reminded me as a black man on why I hate slave movies.

All of the actors were able to connect with us on a deep level and there are some out standing performances. The first half of the play is masterful. The 2nd half is alright....but it's really the first half that stands out.

My friend and I saw Harmony here today, and we loved it! The theatre is a fantastic venue, and everyone was so friendly and helpful! I would definitely go here again for any type of performance.

Season ticket holder for years. Some plays are not to everyone's taste, but the acting is always top notch and most plays have very high production values. A few shows have gone on to Broadway - much cheaper to view them in ATL than traveling to NY!
