Was given a gift certificate to this restaurant and was not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu had some unusual offerings but we came to learn that most of the items are authentic Nigerian foods. We had appetizers, spinach dip with delicious pita chips that were warm and really fresh. My husband had the spicy mussels and he really enjoyed them. We are not adventurous so for dinner I ordered salmon and my husband had the Cajun shrimp fettucini. I also had a side of coconut infused rice with beans....yummy. We were too full to have desert. The prices are reasonable and the although small the restaurant has an eclectic vibe. It is easy to find and there is valet parking available for just $5. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us. We also learned a little about the history of the building. I don't understand the negative reviews, we will be going back.
