Used a ScoutMob deal and was very pleased! Ordered the Red Haute, which essentially was a fancy chili dog, and the waffle fries with the special maple syrup sauce. The only thing I didn't like was the high bench seating.....it wasn't very comfortable and caused our group to leave sooner than we might have otherwise.

Tried the Haute Dog - great brisket chili on top
Also the Eastbound & Down dog with bbq pork and slaw
The shrimp and Grits were large batter-fried shrimp cooked perfectly
Get the HD Waffle Fries with the heat-infused maple syrup drizzled on top are much better than plain

We'll be back!

AT HD 1, Top Chef winner Richard Blais does for the humble hot dog what he did for burgers at his Flip restaurants. The inside is sparse: stools, rustic tables, tiny interior, but fun and plenty comfortable. You order at the counter, and your food is dropped off at your table. The twists on ordinary hot dogs and sides are unique but not crazy. You can still feel like you're enjoying the guilty pleasure of a hot dog, but with home made sauerkraut instead of the canned stuff. Beanie Weenie morphs into real beans with good flavor and meaty hot dog bites. It's a winner.
Located in the Poncey-Highlands area, and not very easy to spot, it may be too much for tourists but Atlantans in the mood for a the best hot dog experience will be glad they sniffed out HD 1. Bonus: Richard Blais was there the day we ate there!! Cutie pie.
