“Opa! -- a midtown winner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 May 2014

In a neighborhood with many chains (taco mac, jimmy johns, panera, etc), this middle eastern hole in the wall is a tremendous asset. Lamb/beef gyro is very tasty, as are most of the mezes. If you're seeking a quick gyro fix, this is BY FAR, your best choice in midtown. There isn't much in the way of atmosphere; even the "patio" is just a cramped space by the curb out front. Reminds me a little of some of the places that used to be on McDuogal Street in Greenwich Village years ago.

“Nice small restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2014

We found this place by accident and yes it was just awesome. We just loved their veggie option. The staff a little simple but very friendly. The manager/owner spoiled us with a free dessert as it was my birthday! The Turkish Coffee had a hint of vanilla in it. Never tasted it like this before and yes it was prepared perfectly. Definitely a nice place to come back to.

“Gem in Midtown”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

Found the restaurant by accident but glad I did. I am very demanding in regards to middle eastern cuisine. The food was fresh, service basic but efficient, and the quantity plentiful. Locally owned clearly a neighborhood restaurant. I would definitely eat there next time I am in Atlanta.

“Small, friendly, excellent!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2014

We had the falafel platter, the lamb and beef gyro platter, stuffed grape leaves, rice pudding, baclava, and turkish coffee. All fantastic! I checked above that it was one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant: to be clear, it was THE BEST FALAFEL I've tasted.
