We had been planning on dining in Little Five Points before going to a show at the Village Theatre, but traffic was crazy in that area so we decided to just drive around to see what we found. We decided to check out the Drafting Table because it was near the theater, and couldn't have been happier with our selection.
This appears to be a fairly new restaurant. None of us had heard of it before we came across it.
It has a very interesting menu at reasonable prices. I think anyone could find something on the menu that they would like. There is also quite an extensive beer list; there were probably around 20 beers, plus a cider or two. The waitress was able to give us suggestions on both the menu and the beer list.
We were with another couple. Both of the guys ordered the 50/50 burger (sirloin/bacon), which came with excellent fries. The burger was very good and flavorful. My wife ordered the roast 1/4 chicken and was very happy with that. Our other friend ordered the macaroni & cheese and a large salad. The macaroni & cheese was good, but didn't compare to the rest of the dishes.
I would definitely come back here if we're in the area.
