“Excellent Food! Great Service!”
Reviewed 10 March 2010

Sandy Springs seems to be a hot location for Iranian-Persians. And there has to be at least a half-dozen Persian restauruants, all on Roswell Road and within a mile or so of each other. All of them are excellent, because primarily of competition!!!! I've been to all but the most expensive-haute culture cuisine place. But there is none better than Persepolis!!! Even their vendors go there for the buffet!! I stood next to the chicken vendor for the restaurant one day at the lunch buffet, and he explained to me the various levels of quality of restaurant-quality chicken, and Persepolis buys only the best.

They also keep a very clean shop. Most Persian folks are big into cleanliness. But it's nice to go into a restaurant, wash your hands with hot soapy water at a clean lavatory, notice that all the utensils are spotless, and the food is fresh, not wilted.

Their chefs know what they're doing as well. All entres (kabobs and stews) are prepared with detail and THEY ARE CONSISTENT!!!! The salads are always fresh, aromatic and loaded with all the niceties that Persians like to add.

Go and enjoy!

“Two bad experiences”
Reviewed 3 June 2009

The food is actually not that bad, but I have had MUCH better. The rice was dry and the meat was a little too fatty. The service was absolutely awful. The waitress sat there and laughed loudly the entire time. Other staff of the restaurant sat at a table together and talked about people and as we left they continued to laugh and be rude. You are supposed to be a classy restaurant and treat your paying customers with respect. If you must be loud and rude, please go to the back, or wait till your customers are gone. You can laugh at whatever all you want, the joke is ultimately on YOU because you are ruining the reputation of your restaurant.

Basically what I am saying is that if you want true quality Persian food from the respectful classy Iranians that SHOULD be serving it, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. And the guy in the connected Persian Grocery store is the RUDEST individual I have ever met. I was very disappointed with my experiences.
