“Will not stay again”
Reviewed 25 July 2014 via mobile

My 2 teenagers and I stayed 2 nights so we could attend a Braves game. We were there about 2 hours and my daughter says daddy do you want to go to another hotel tomorrow night.
Hallways were very hot and had severe water stains. The pool is not open.
The security guards ( trust me we need them in this area) stayed in the eating area watching TV not making sure my family is safe.
Staff friendly.
Breakfast lady could not keep up with the amount of guests staying so there were no plates or bowls or food for that matter.
Regardless of how close it is we will he staying downtown in the future and taking FREE SHUTTLES to the game that all hotels provide so the convenience if this location is null to us due to the poor condition of the hotel.

The staff was great! The breakfast was great! The location (since we were catching a game) was great! Everything else wasn't! We constantly had to have our key card programmed and reprogrammed. The elevator close to breakfast room was stuck on 3rd floor for 2 hrs. The only way to get in was front. No key code side doors for comvience! The pool was slimy and green, so no swimming. U only get 3 towels per room, and half the lamps didn't work in our room which made it hard to see anything when we would get ready to leave out for the day. The owners need to stop apologizing for not fixing the issues and thanking us for our honesty in commenting. Stop blowing smoke up peoples butts and come off that money you make and fix the place up. The only thing that brings people back is the location, NOT THE QUALITY OF YOUR HOTEL! All u have going for u IS the location! Fix the pool, the elevator, the key card programming, easier access by key card into building or my family and I won't be returning. Probably should've looked into the hotel behind urs!

This is a great place to stay if you're going to catch a Braves game(s). You couldn't get any closer to the field if you tried. Turner Field is directly across the street from the hotel. And even though it is also right on Interstate 75, the building is built with great noise reduction. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. Also right next door is Bullpen BBQ. It makes an excellent meal after the game!!!!

Spent four nights at this location to catch the Phillies/Braves series at Turner Field. No regrets. You can only get closer to the park if you sleep in the dugout! Nice to be able to cross the street for game time. Even nicer to simply cross the street and be "home" after the game. Aside from that it's all downhill. Absolutely nothing else in this neighborhood. Only one so-so restaurant, no shops, no parks, no anything. Parking is free. Breakfast is adequate. Kudos to Michelle who serviced that area. Exceptional employee. All of the employees were helpful, friendly, and anxious to please. Decor is dated and a little "dusty." Would I stay here again? By all means! Would I recommend it? Yes. If you're going to Turner Field.

We stayed there over the 4th of July weekend with plans to hang out at the pool between Braves games. Pool was having maintenance done and was never made available. Very poor timing. We came back from Braves game to find our "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door that we did not place there and, of course, our room not clean. I know we didn't put it there and someone had to take it from inside our room. Mattress and pillows have seen better days. Fitted sheet was so worn out it wouldn't stay on the mattress. The plus side is this hotel is right across the street from Turner Field and rooms were pretty quite considering it's right next to the interstate. Breakfast was not bad. I would not recommend this hotel.

We are sorry to hear of your unsatisfactory experience during your stay. It is unfortunate when situations like this arise. The hotel cannot predict when maintenance issues arise that prevent the pool from being open. We take every precaution to make sure that all guests are affected as little as possible. We hope you will consider us again when you are in the area.

If you want to stay close to Turner Field there is no place closer. The Hotel is on the opposite corner from the 1st base entrance to Turner Field. The breakfast room which has a good selection of hot and cold items typical to most hotels in this range is a good size and looks at the stadium in the corner.
Problems arise when the busy front desk staff is not able to raise a courteous welcome and simply runs through routine check-in. The one elevator is old, and slow and doesn't always stop flush to the floor so watch your step. Rooms are good and comfortable but the bathroom was less than thoroughly cleaned with black marks (black mold?) seeping from under the edge of the bowl and mildew in the shower tile grout. The point that there was a hefty penalty assessed for smoking in the rooms was made clear. Finding a burn hole in our comforter was not pleasant and was noted immediately to the front staff so we would not be held responsible.
The pool was emerald green with algae upon our arrival and unusable. Staff said it was being worked on and the third morning someone was vacuuming it but the water was still too cloudy for use.
The hotel price is good, however, rates increased $30 for the night of a game. This balances out the fact that you don't have to walk far to the stadium or pay from $10 up ($20 for non-hotel guests in their lot) pretty much. However, if it is a game day when you arrive, plan to get to the hotel early enough prior to the game before neighborhood streets begin closing to traffic.

If you're in town for a ballgame, you will not get any closer than this. The hotel and ballpark are snugged away in a residential area, just across a small not-too-busy residential street. When there's no game, it's quiet (except for the noise from the highway that borders the hotel property). For a fee, they let game goers park in the lot, but there's no charge for guests. This property is so close to the park, that we have literally, paid for parking in official lots at stadiums and haven't been that close.

OK, so, I established the location is good. The hotel itself is clean, the staff friendly, the lobby was extremely inviting and they had fresh free cookies, the room well designed and roomy with a comfortable bed and great shower. 24 hour fitness center, cute little courtyard and the biggest breakfast area I ever saw. Unfortunately, I found other flaws that take away from what should've been a great stay.

Thankfully they put us on the second floor. I say thankfully because the elevator scared the life out of me. It squeaked and shook so loudly on the first trip up, I took the stairs up and down the rest of my stay. See my photos for a picture of the expired certificate. Please note, the day of our stay was May 2014!

Once we got to our room, we went straight for the window because we were sure to have a view of the park. What we had was actually the awning to the front of the hotel! I'd rather have the highway than nothing at all! I mean, we could not see anything except more of the building - not even a peek. I suppose if one wanted privacy it would be fine, but not for us.

The parking lot is a little tricky as it is on a slight hill. This may or may not be a problem for you, but for disabled people, it definitely was. The only level spot was in the back which did not appear to be too secure. Of course, during the game, because they allow others to park there, it was our only choice. We moved the car to the front later because there was no other door leading to/from the hotel besides the front.

I'd like to comment on the 24 hr fitness and the pool that we were looking forward to utilizing, but the 24 hour fitness center was CLOSED! and the tiniest pool was dirty and standing alone at the edge of the property far from the hotel.

All in all, we would stay again because of the location and I could overlook these inconveniences and now I know to ask for the second floor away from the awning. It just should've been better.

Room Tip: Ask for 2nd floor without awning!
