“Marvelous find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

For almost a year I had taken the bus past this place as it was under construction, waiting for it to open as the little building itself looked so intriguing. Finally it opened, but I had not been able to go before my husband and I attended a local festival - the Beltline Boil where a dozen or so restaurants competed for best low country boil. Bantam Pub was our immediate #1 choice, and apparently it was for everyone else, too, because it won with a dish called "Stewnami." What an awesome, delectable seafood delight! So of course we had to check out the location itself and we were not disappointed in the least with the rest of the menu, the service, or the physical space. All were great. Although there weren't very many patrons the Sunday afternoon we went, I suspect we won't be lonely the next time we go.

“Lamb burger!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

I am not really a fan of lamb, but the description of the lamb burger sounded really good. I was discussing it with our waiter when the owner walked by and convinced me to have it. I was NOT sorry. It was totally delicious and I have brought others back that think the same. It's a neat space and the service is usually pretty good. I hear their burgers are good too, but their lamb burger is worth the visit on it's own.

“Nice local pub with great bar service.”

The food is better than typical fried bar food you find at most pubs. The bartenders are friendly and fun, especially Gina :-)

“Nice addition to the neighborhood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013

The owners did a nice job converting the existing building into a nice space with an inviting patio. We enjoyed the lamb burger and pulled pork sandwich that was nicely seasoned and even had a little heat/spice. Pretty good beer selection.
