For almost a year I had taken the bus past this place as it was under construction, waiting for it to open as the little building itself looked so intriguing. Finally it opened, but I had not been able to go before my husband and I attended a local festival - the Beltline Boil where a dozen or so restaurants competed for best low country boil. Bantam Pub was our immediate #1 choice, and apparently it was for everyone else, too, because it won with a dish called "Stewnami." What an awesome, delectable seafood delight! So of course we had to check out the location itself and we were not disappointed in the least with the rest of the menu, the service, or the physical space. All were great. Although there weren't very many patrons the Sunday afternoon we went, I suspect we won't be lonely the next time we go.
