“Quiet and Peaceful course!”
Reviewed 20 June 2012

While I'm not a huge fan of playing golf, the Bobby Jones Golf Course is a lovely course! It's in an unexpected location in the middle of several neighborhoods on the boarder of Buckhead and Midtown but that just gives it a certain family-oriented feeling. After living on the edge of the course for many years, it's was one of my favorite spots to walk around and watch the golfer's do what I never can!

“Its a good time....”
Reviewed 27 April 2012

however not a great course by any means, it was built in 1932. But for me that was the beauty of it, simple layout with a few quirky if not difficult holes it can be tight in spots. The greens were in good shape.

I havent played the course till now in probably 20 years but wanted to do something different and decided to go down and play an old time course and thats what you get with BJGC. Nothing fancy just some old time golf with a few terrific views of the city.

It can get crowded as well so go early if possible.

“Azaleas in bloom”
Reviewed 1 April 2012

If you can't go to Augusta, you can see the azaleas in bloom in the area around the Bobby Jones course in Atlanta. Played the course in late March and the greens and fairways were in great shape. The staff was helpful. My only issues were the lack of food for purchase, and club rental was almost as high as the green fee.

“In great shape”
Reviewed 1 June 2010

This course has been hit hard by floods. That being said, it was in bad shape for some time, however, it is back. The course is in great shape now. The tee boxes have been re-sodded and the greens are probably the best in the area. Staff is great and the course is well worth the price. You should definitely go check out the much improved conditions of the course that has been through some tough times, well worth the reasonable prices.
