“Cool venue”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

I saw Flogging Molly here in February and really liked the venue with a few minor exceptions. Be aware that the upper balconies are very, very steep. At the time of my visit, there were no bathrooms available except for the ones in the basement. Quite a haul if you have to go more than once. These items aside, the venue has great acoustics and atmosphere and is a nice size (not cavernous, but not cramped either). Tip: purchase parking along with your tickets so that you can park in the deck that's about a 2 block walk from the venue.

“Intimate Venue, yet big enough for excitement”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

I recently saw NeedToBreathe here and it was amazing. There was general admission and my friend and I stood on the floor. There was no problem seeing the band because the ground is slanted. I was incredibly close to the band for only $50. I could see them up close, but the venue was still big enough for it to be exciting. Everyone is incredibly nice there and it was an amazing concert. I definitely recommend The Tabernacle.

“Perfect Venue for Grouplove”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

Small, intimate, historic, loud, and rocking - all rolled into the same venue. The Tabernacle is a historic old church turned music venue. The acoustics are wonderful inside the brick building. Also, when you opt to stand down front, you are so close to the band you can almost touch them (well, we actually did when Christian crowd-surfed). For those in the balcony, the view from there looked awesome. I think the seating was probably good in the balcony although everyone was standing. The concert merchandise is located downstairs along with drinks and restrooms. It was very clean and well organized. Overall, a great venue for a concert.

“Great Venue for a Concert”
Reviewed 26 May 2014 via mobile

Saw Third Eye Blind at the Tabernacle. What an awesome venue this is. The art is amazing as is the rustic feel. The sound was very good, the people and atmosphere were even better. 3EB put on amazing show, I saw them a couple of months later at another venue. Even though 3EB sounded great the concert at the second venue didn't feel near as good. The tabernacle is an Atlanta treasure and the best place to hear live music.

“Best Venue Ever”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Just the fun of attending any show in the building itself almost makes the act unimportant. Every seat is good; and their arrangement allows the audience and performers to energize each other.
