Owner description: Georgia Aquarium is the world's most magical aquarium. Situated near Centennial Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta,Georgia, Georgia Aquarium offers its guests an experience like no other. Across six separate galleries, with more than 70 amazing habitats, 10 million gallons of water and thousands of species of marine animals, guests will marvel at, learn about and come to better understand such majestic aquatic animals as whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, beluga whales, sea otters, African penguins and thousands of species of exotic fish and other animals. The spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show combines incredible natural animal behaviors with dynamic theatrics, a Broadway-inspired musical score and a compelling story, which together underscore the connection between humans and the animal world. The animated "Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow," for all ages, tells an entertaining but important story about conserving and protecting animals and their natural environment. Cafe Aquaria offers delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and delectable desserts. Two gift shops give visitors the chance to take home a treasured collectible. Special animal encounter programs offer the chance to go behind the scenes and come face-to-face with dolphins, sea otters and penguins. Guests can even swim or dive with whale sharks and manta rays in the world's largest aquarium habitat (at 6.3 Million gallons), Ocean Voyager built by the Home Depot. And an onsite parking deck immediately adjacent to the aquarium means quick, easy-to-find and affordable parking.

“Biggest in the world”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

Visited this venue a handful of times when family and friends would come visit. It's the largest aquarium in the world but still seems somewhat small in my opinion. Would be able to tour the entire aquarium in an hour or so. Lots of different species but i wish there was more staff on hand to answer any questions we might have.

“Their Dolphin Show was Great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

I went on my birthday..as a ga resident it was free for me and my 2 year old was free as well. We made it just in time to enjoy the dolphin show. Depending on where you sit you may get a little wet. They interact with the crowd throughout the show so you feel included. We did tour the rest of the aquarium as well. There are really some great views of the fish

“Awesome Dive!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

Great aquarium (biggest one in the world). I went with a friend and dove with the whale sharks and ray mantas. It was a great experience. Everything was organized very professionally, staff was very friendly and knew their stuff! I recommend to all divers.
The visit of the who aquarium and exhibits are also worth seeing.

“Not to be missed when in Atlanta.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

We did get in early, so the first three exhibits weren't crowded yet. We purchased the Atlanta CityaPass at the entrance, and also received the tickets for the dolphin show at 11AM. The place is huge, and our two-year old daughter had the time of her life staring at the whale sharks swimming just a few meters away. Everything is well explained and the volunteers provided us with relevant information. The touch and feel pools are a success for all ages, as is gigantic windows with looks into the biggest aquarium in the world. Just sit for a while and enjoy. The dolphin show was excellent, but for younger kids (3 and under) it can be frightening due to the loud music and sound effects. Just make sure you have tickets, or be there when it opens.

“Great time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

Had a fantastic time here! Went on a Sunday and although it was a bit crowded it was not so bad that it was uncomfortable. Loved every minute of it. Favorites: the whale sharks, sea dragons, sea otters.
