We spent 3 nights at this B&B and were more than happy with the experience. We spent two nights in the Executive Suite and one in the City Suite. We would probably have liked the City Suite better if it had been the first. It's a very comfortable room with a full kitchen and a comfortable queen size bed. Although it's on a somewhat busy street, we were not bothered by street noise. The room is reached through a charming screened in porch where breakfast is served. The Executive suite is much larger - although the bathroom is very small - with a king size bed and a large, very comfortable sitting area. The pictures on their web site really don't do it justice. In addition, it has a lovely, tree top screened in porch with a glider and comfy chairs. We wished we had more time to spend sitting on the porch. It was a bit warm there, but a ceiling fan made it comfortable - especially in the evening and early morning. One of the things we liked best was the very imaginative decor. Lana, the innkeeper, seems to love collecting interesting objects and incorporating them into her rooms. There are also stacks of magazines of various types, a water bubbler in each room. - Lana seems to have thought of everything. She arrives each morning with an excellent full breakfast and is very amenable to listening to what you like. Finally, this is a neighborhood that we really like. In a earlier trip, we were out in the suburbs and have gone to restaurants since then in outlying areas, but these areas are generally pretty uninteresting. This is an older - for Atlanta - area of wonderful bungalow style houses and no two look alike. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to check out the houses and parks and even small shopping areas nearby. Relatives we were visiting are probably going to move, but if we return to Atlanta, we will definitely stay at Ponce de Leon B & B - and really hope for the Executive Suite.
